When we arrived there was no water for a few hours. After the son returned it was quickly solved. Evening meal was not possible, contrary to the information on booking.

Very quiet location on the end of the street. Nice spacious house. Clean room and bathroom. Good airco. A shower with hot water. Great breakfast.

The house feels a bit empty and there is a huge difference in the feel when the owner is there and when she is not. My first day she was not there, there was only one new staff, that could hardly speak English.

The room was super comfortable in a nice location, a bit outside the centre, so very quiet. It also had a nice balcony. The breakfast was delicious, especially on the day the owner was there. The owner is very warm and friendly.

The stairs were too challenging for my elderly companion so we stayed in two rooms-one upstairs and one downstairs. This was an obstacle to staying in contact. The owners were not present during the week and we had to manage food and transportation on our own, which was a challenge.

It was relatively convenient to the Ancient City. The beds were comfortable. On the Weekend when the owners were present they were very generous with their time to help us go places and do shopping. Wi-Fi was available.

The room was super comfortable in a nice location, a bit outside the center, so very quiet. It also had a nice balcony. I‘ve got a delicious Avacado milkshake after arrival and was welcomed warmly. The garden is so beautiful, and you can see many animals when you sit down and just relax on the balcony. The owner gave me super tips for sightseeing and offered tours, it pays off to take part. The breakfast was delicious. One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the food. As someone who values a healthy lifestyle, I was thrilled to find that Green Villa takes great pride in offering nutritious and delicious meals. Every dish was made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients, bursting with flavor and packed with nutrients. The variety of healthy options on the menu ensured that there was something for everyone, whether you’re vegetarian, vegan, or simply looking for wholesome, balanced meals. You will be very lucky to stay in this amazing property with the lovely Staff!

Beautiful old Villa located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. Its a short ride by tuk tuk or 35 mins by walk to new bus station. Big shop is only 10 mins by walk. We were lucky to meet the whole family, it was easy and fun to talk to them. They prepared unique and delicious sri lankas breakfast for us. Thank you for letting us stay.
