The place is really nice and clean. Many restaurants, bars and supermarkets are all within walking distance. Very friendly and helpful host. He organized a Safari for us, drove us to the nicest places around (Sigiriya rock etc) and even spontaneously offered to cook dinner for us where we could join in the kitchen and watch the cooking. 🙂 At the end of our stay he also organized the taxi transfer including a visit to the ancient Ritigala ruins. It nearly felt like an all-inclusive stay and I can only recommend this place!

A mini fridge would have been useful but staff kept our drinks in their refrigerator. The shower was fairly cold but good pressure.

Breakfast was great - coconut roti was delicious. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Spacious rooms with good air conditioning.

Best place where you can stay Sigiriya! Seetha the host is so nice, cooking class, visit of her own village and everything!!! Highly recommend!

Everything was greatfull. Owners very hospitable, friendly, helpful. Breakfast was amazing, local food. Birds are singing around. Not far from Lion Rock and Pidurangala.

A home away from home – Seetha makes all the difference! Staying at Seetha’s place was an absolute highlight of our trip! She is incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Every morning and evening, she prepared the most delicious meals for us—honestly, the best we had on our journey! We could have even watched her cook, but unfortunately, we weren’t around at the right time. The rooms are super comfortable, but the real reason to stay here is Seetha herself. She is always there when you need anything—whether it’s advice, help, or just a friendly chat. It truly felt like staying with family. On top of that, the location is perfect! Everything you need is just around the corner, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. If you have the chance to stay here, do it! You won’t regret it. Thank you, Seetha, for such a wonderful experience! Seetha, happy to now call you a sister by heart ❤️

It does get get quite hot in the area, so feel AC is more fitting than just a fan. I am not a big fan of AC, but would have loved it here. The floor is painted in a red color that stains your feet or anything else wet you put on it. There’s no hot water. Interior is very basic. Some chairs would be nice.

Lovely warm welcome by Seetha, the young lady that runs the place. She really makes this a great place to visit. She will go above and beyond to ensure you are taken care of during your stay. The most gentle person we’ve come across in Sri Lanka so far (4 weeks). Prepared a lovely dinner and breakfast for us and the quantities were plentiful. Very spacious room with a mosquito net and fan. Bathroom is very spacious too. Nice dinner/breakfast area in the large garden. Lots of space to walk around. Even get a view of Sigiriya Lion Rock. We enjoyed a lovely home cooked meal by Sita, but there are loads of cozy restaurants nearby. Place is nice and quiet.

The water was cold but it wasn’t a big problem since it’s hot.

Seetha was the best host I ever had. The room was big and comfortable and the bathroom was nice too. She prepared an amazing breakfast everyday and really treated me as part of her family. She was very attentive to my needs and is such a sweet person to spend time with!

This is truly an extraordinary place. At first, it may seem unassuming, but the surroundings are very pleasant and peaceful. The room is comfortable and clean, ensuring a pleasant stay. The breakfast is definitely worth it – absolutely worth the extra cost! And I can’t forget to mention the meal prepared by Seetha, the kindest person in the world. Not only is she incredibly warm and welcoming, but she also cooks exceptionally well, using a very traditional approach that unveils the authentic flavors of the local cuisine.

The staff, Seeta, was very kind and always attentive. Thanks to her, we had a comfortable stay. The facility was in a very quiet environment, so we were able to relax.

The property is 2 rooms next to each other only and worked well for a group of 4. The owners were very nice and helpful. Each morning we had a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast

Price for dinner was pretty expensive, and rooms as well (but this is Sigiriya).

Nice and comfortable rooms, very close to the rock, and the owner was very nice and interesting (we prepared dinner together)
