It’s actually not that much about the hostel but i ended up (female) in a room with 3 men..which was a bit akward. Also one man was snoring whole nights and those nights were sleepless for me :/

Stayed in the 4 bed female dorm for 4 nights and had a great time. The hostel is steps away from the beach and walking distance to some really great restaurants. The room I stayed in had its own bathroom and AC which was major compared to the hangover in Ella. The beds were comfortable and the room was cleaned each day I was there. The family dinner was great the 2 times it happened but the pregame before the “pub crawl” could have been better. It was very boring (card games/jenga) and did not really hype up or get everyone in the mood or the night. The parties in the area are a hit or miss depending on the type of music you enjoy. Other than that, the workers are very kind and provided me with information on how to get back to negombo.

Nice place to visit Mirissa Beach, Parrot Rock, Coconut Tree Hill, Secret Beach, Jungle party on Saturday. The Manager was very helpful and supportive. I recommend to stay in this hostel.

Room was a bit small at least for 6 people.

Location is perfect and the breakfast was good. AC in the room and the common area was nice 🙂 good bathroom with hot shower. The manager was very friendly and helpful! And it was clean, so I recommend this place.

The street can be loud at night, but we knew that before.

Basic room in a sweet, family style hostel! Perfect locations just a minute from the beach, shops and restaurants close by. Sarath and Nilhan are taking good care of the guests! They hosted a family dinner for us and arranged for pre drinks and transportation to a party. Laundry service, easy access to rent scooters and contact to surf schools possible :)

When we asked for towels- they smelt of petrol, then when we asked for new ones, the towels still smelt of petrol. This is annoying because we needed to rent these out. The staff were not super friendly or helpful when asked for different activities in Mirissa.

Comfy bed, we had our own plug sockets and the shower was good but it leaked the whole bathroom. The AC was good and I liked the option of girls only 4-bed dorm.

The caretaker did not have any information about anything and communication was the main problem. Also in this price, they don’t provide towels and you need to rent them for extra amount.

Walkable distance to the tourist attraction. Cleanliness and facilities were maintained well.

It’s so close to the street that it makes it a bit noisy (I use earplugs). There is a common area where you can rest/talk/work but it doesn’t have ac so anyway to prefer doing it from your bed 😂

No mosquito net so got bitten a few times while in bed. Bathroom had a mouldy smell. Quite loud near the main road but if you have some ear plugs it's fine.

Good location across the road from Mirissa beach. Comfy beds, with airconditioning which was great. Good sized storage lockers to keep your belongings (including large bags).

The beds in the shared room do not have curtains for little privacy but as we were all girls it was not a big issue.

The place is just near the beach and the manager is willing to help you in everything you may need. The shower is quite big and they offer free tea and coffee.

Very good location and great service. It has a great atmosphere for those that want to meet people but don’t want to be at a party hostel. The rooms were clean and had everything needed. At first I was going to stay 1 night but I ended up staying 3 nights because it was really nice
