IndiaSeepages in walls. Hot water kettle was missing in rooms. Food that you order at the hotel are brought from outside; no in house cooking facilities available. Poor quality of bed ( makes lot of sound when one sits on it.).

United StatesWe felt that pillow covers and sheets weren't fresh so Sundaru and Sheteja quickly changed those. There were ants innthebroom which I think may be normal in tropical weather but Satheja was very helpful to spray in the room everyday. Bed was noisy may be due to not good pr older mattresses.
The most we liked was the staff named Sundaru and Satheja who were very friendly and always ready to help. There is a little makeshift kitchen where we could get hot water. The view of Paradenia city from outside of the reception hall was spectacular. We also like the breakfast nook outside with a wide view of Paradenia. Also the uphill hike from Kandy Lake in the city to the hotel was very interesting for us as we like to hike. And we felt it was safe to hike even late night. Overall the Sri Lankan people are very friendly and welcoming.

The location is ok if you don't mind a 10 minute walk up a steep hill. It was ok for me, I don't mind a steep hill. If you are not that fit then you would have to use a tuk tuk. The breakfast is not cooked at the hotel. It was brought in from outside. It was a little cold. Shiija Rathnayla who worked on reception was very nice and helpful.

The views from the balcony are stunning. Cosy and small hotel away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Room service available , which was handy as one night it was raining heavily. Great breakfast and lovely staff.
