The view was fantastic and the staff is very helpful and attentive

Steep steps, after a tiring trek I found it hard to climb but the staff carried all our luggage’s and made it bearable

The host was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was good, and was very good the morning the mum was there - a very delicious treat! The view was amazing and I couldn't get enough of it. It was a very peaceful location.

The entry to the property was a little steep and had quite a few stairs. This would limit the accessibility for some people. The towels and linen could have been a bit nicer, and the room and balcony could have been a little cleaner.

Everything was really perfect. A quiet, calm and special place located about a ten minute drive from Ella. The hosts were charming and the food was delicious. Highly recommended

The staff was really nice and helpfull. The rooms were clean and hade enough space and the View was amazing. The place was like a 7 min drive from the town Ella, but you practically got a privet Tuk tuk driver, as one of the staff members drove you everywere and picked you up whenever you liked so it was not a problem. He also showed us secret waterfalls that was really amazing. I can really recomend the place!

It was such a nice and clean place with a beautiful view. And the staff was so friendly.

Staff and View and Breakfasts

The breakfast was super delicious and the room was also clean and comfortable. The view from the terrace was amazing! The family was so nice to us, helped with everything. One evening we ordered dinner and it was the best fried rice I had after spending a year in Sri Lanka. We are very happy we chose this property in Ella - it was very authentic compared to the mass touristy places in the village.

There were quite a few steps on the way to the room, but it's common in mountains. The top floors of the house are still being finished by the family, but this is also common in Sri Lanka.

I don’t believe you will find a better view in Ella. It is truly jaw dropping. The room is clean and comfortable. There is a balcony to sit out on and take in the view. The breakfast was one of the more memorable of my life, see picture. The owners are lovely. The son took me to see the sights and back and forth into Ella for a reasonable rate.

This property is not suitable if you can’t climb some stairs.

The view is amazing and the family is very friendly. The host cooks very well and she always has a smile for you, very lovely lady!

The rooms could be more comfortable, there was no way to let in fresh air, no mosquito net and cold tiles. The bed was alright but could have been cleaner, too. In total, the place has a lot of potential!

Ayesha will welcome you with a big warm smile. The view from the room and the balcony while having breakfast is exceptional. The food and service was amazing. Tharindu, Ayesha's son can be your private tour guide and show you the sights of Ella. Thank you Ayesha and Tharindu you made my stay in Ella very special. Andrew

Thank you to the host for making our stay so pleasant. We truly enjoyed everything they offered, and the host was very friendly. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

Superb friendly host . They welcomed us and gave us complimentary tea. provided utensils, water kettle on request and helped when needed. Nice location excellent view by the valley.

Lots of steps to climb down to the property. Could pose a problem for travellers with knee or leg troubles.

The room view was great, the room was nice, breakfast very nice and the owners are nice as well

as the hotel is surrounded by mountains, at night you will see outside your room all sorts of insects and geckos, and a lot of insects find their way inside the room as also geckos. There are no wire nets on the windows so you will have to close everything, especially at night so there is no source of ventilation.
