You get a good view of the bridge and its only a short walk away. Its on a hill and you need a tuktuk to reach this place and there is no streetlight at night and it will be pitch dark if you are returning from town, so be careful. The host was great, served us with good breakfast.

The road to reach this property is at a steep.

We hiked the Pekoe trail and Nine Arch Araliya homestay was in the perfect spot overlooking the bridge and for our walk from Ella. The hosts were lovely with breakfast. It was a very wet day so probably not the best time. Homestay was good though. thank you.

    the rain!

The homestay is run by a nice Sri Lankan lady who rents out one room with separate entrance next to her own home. It’s located in walking distance to the famous Nine Arches Bridge. The room is simple and without AC, yet clean and the bathroom has a hot water shower. A nice terrace offers first class views on the bridge. Every morning the host served us a delicious Sri Lankan style breakfast and we could watch the trains go over the bridge while eating! Such a nice experience. There are also a few little restaurants close to the homestay. We definitely recommend this place if you want to have a beautiful encounter with a local family :)

You can’t get there by car. Either you walk, bike or take a tuktuk to get there. We had bad weather when we arrived and the road was very difficult to drive with the motorbike. Also the place does not really have a space to park vehicles. Walking there is also fine as long as you have a medium fitness level. We had local simcards which came in handy because the WiFi was not really working.

Very lovely view. House owner is very nice lady. Helped about everything. We checked in around 9pm, was no problem for them We asked and she made us simple but tasty vegetarian breakfast. The house is inside of jungle. So it’s very peaceful place. To walk to bridge took only line 7 min.

The location was amazing and so close to the bridge!!! Also the woman who ran the place was so nice and amazing!! She made an incredible breakfast!!!

Unfortunately there were lots of ants in the bathroom! Expected to be some bugs because of the area but it was a lot. That being said the rest of the location very clean

It was a little homestay right near the 9 Arch Bridge. A little difficult to find but you will enjoy the find. The Homestay owner is a sweet lady who is very accommodating. She prepared the most sumptuous english meal I have had in Sri lanka. A blissful sleep is guaranteed out there. We even meet Dev, the person who manages the nearby property and had a long conversation with him about everything out there. I truly recommend it to everyone wanting to go there.

Great location for views of the 9 arch bridge with less than 4 mins walk to the bridge. Night time is serene and tranquil with fireflies and stars lighting up the night sky. The room was spotless with big comfortable beds and a decent size bathroom. The lady owner was heart warmingly welcoming and help was there if you needed. It felt very homely.

Great view, amazing breakfast, friendly family hosting, close to the bridge, in the forest and not in the city.

A little loud during busy days, complicated access with our own tuktuk, second bed in the bedroom useless for us.

Amazingly amazing! The location is superb! Walking distance to Nine Arches Bridge, Little Adam & Ella Town!

They don't accept cards. Make sure to bring enough cash to pay for the room

I loved the authenticity of the place, the room was big, plenty of space to sleep, plugs by the bedside with adapters, big bathroom with hot water. The host was amazing. Always a big smile, making you feel like home, she cooked dinner and breakfast for us, soon delicious! We ate on the terrace, with the view of the Nine Arch Bridge. Great value for the money! 😍

The road to the place is a bit abrupt, but we managed not no fall 😅

Amazing view on the 9 Arch bridge. Nice balcony to observe a bridge having a breakfast. You will literally live in the jungle, surrounded by the wild nature as monkeys and squirrels. Only 5 minutes walking to the bridge. Very nice and helpful host. Breakfast simple, but good (homemade in Lankan style). Be ready that you cannot reach the place by car. You need to take a tuk-tuk from the main road. But it is not a problem just to walk 10 min, if you don't have heavy lagguage. After all, good for its money. Ok for one or two nights.

It was quite cold at night. The blanket could be warmer. The shelf in the bathroom and a glass for tooth brush was dirty (but everything else was very clean). The half of the room takes up second large bed. We used it for our stuff as there was no wardrobe.
