Decoration can be renovated and also landscape We booked 6 months ago. But when we checked the price just before we arrived, we saw half price of what we paid. It was not nice, we felt like cheated.

The breakfast options could be better

The hospitality here is top notch the staff were very welcoming and were very respectful when we saw the pictures of the place online we didn't feel very good but when we came here the place was just wonderful, waking up looking at this beach and the vibe here is just awesome. The complimentary head massage was just mind blowing so we went ahead and had a spa booked for us which was very very relaxing with the correct techniques.Overall i would 100% suggest this place to anyone

Hotel decor is now a bit dated. Design of hotel means even deluxe ocean view rooms do not fully look to the ocean but can be on an angle, which means you are looking at other room balconies and hotel lawns with partial ocean views. Some rooms are located a fair walk away from the main hotel areas.We asked to be moved for a full frontal ocean view. Hotel food and beverage prices are ridiculous. Having to pre pay through the link provided by the hotel to confirm booking was a bit of a hassle.

The only thing they need to improve is their beds- the keep on cracking over the night which sometimes disturbs the sleep

The breakfast was mediocre. There seemed portion control as well - as you had to request more food or wait until things were refilled. But refilling were also minimal, enough to feed two more people at best. Sadly there has been no improvement in the range or quality of the food from our previous visit. Also just as we were about to leave- and sitting in our vehicle the receptionist came running to tell us that a towel was missing. We said that's not possible because we didn't use their bath towels and had taken our own. I ended up opening my suitcases in the middle of the road to prove my point.

The location is superb. The room was clean.

This hotel is in a great location in the town . We could walk to shops and restaurants easily. On arrival we received fruit juice and a head/shoulder massage. On leaving, we received coconut candy. Our room was small, but clean with a beautiful view of the beach and ocean. We were on the top floor and there are no elevators so it was a bit of a trek up and down. The pool was extremely clean and well maintained. There were plenty of comfortable sun loungers under the trees and around the pool. Note - you cannot wear a T-shirt in the pool. There was a good selection of western and Sri Lankan food for breakfast. Unfortunately there were lots of flies on the food despite being in a separate room with a closed door. I would definitely stay at this hotel again as it was a relaxing end to our busy two week travel around Sri Lanka.

Our only grumble about this hotel is that there is no obvious lift, we were on the top floor which we had 3 flights of stairs to walk up and down. This wasn't a problem for us until we were leaving, we asked for someone to come and help us down with our suitcases however no one turned up, so we had to carry them down the 3 flights of stairs ourselves, which some may struggle with. We also asked for a car to take us to our next hotel, but a Tuk Tuk was called, so it was a bit of a squash with our suitcases as well. It was a shame our leaving experience was not as good as the welcome we were provided.

This hotel provides a wonderful welcome, it is set on a great beach and the grounds are lovely and well kept. The rooms are a good size and have everything that you need. The pool is large and clean. The hotel provides a wonderful buffet breakfast with lots of choice and the hotel is in a great location to walk into the main centre, with lots of bars and restaurants to choose from.

The resort was beautiful right on the beach and close to all the good cafes and eateries. The best part was the staff they were so very cordial and helpful. I wanted to celebrate my baby's first birthday and they did an excellent job in the decoration and made us feel special. Special mention to Dinushi from the restaurant who was so loving and pampered my daughter a lot. All other staff Sujith, Namal, Nimsara, Malith were also extremely polite and helpful. Janani made a lovely cake for my daughter. Manager Melvin was wonderful too. Overall I recommend this resort to everyone.

Would be great to have room service for when you arrived jet lagged and have to wait until 7.30pm for dinner. Also some sushi type lunch options

Location was excellent for surfing Marshmellows, Sticks, and Insights. The dinner package was excellent value and breakfast buffet a huge range. Pool was clean entire time. The dinner menu had a great range of European options and was wonderfully cooked, as well as the local cuisine. ATM across the road handy and shops 50m down the road.

We had a very comfortable stay in Insight Resort.The hotel was clean, had all necessary facilities and in a very good location. The beach is beautiful and quiet. I would like just to say that the staff in the hotel was outstanding, always very helpful and welcoming!!! They made us feel very special and very well looked after. The breakfast was tasty and with a good choice of food. The barman served us always with beautiful cocktails and juices. We had a great few days.
