We had some confusion about keys. Every night he locks the gate and we did not have the key to let ourselves out, which was upsetting/confusing the first time it happened and the second time it happened was actually a little aggravating and unnerving. I travel as a single mother with three young kids, so getting locked into a place is like a nightmare come true. Anyway, I think there was a miscommunication because he thought I had the key, meanwhile i told him it didn't work. So check that you have all the keys for doors and gates you need. He seems very kind and helpful, so I'm sure it will be fixed. Also, Google maps is inaccurate, so he will send you the location to find it, or you can ask.

Great villa with large rooms and the comfiest beds and pillows I've slept on anywhere in Asia. The grounds are so lovely and there is a full kitchen with stove, fridge, and anything you could possibly need to cook. Eating area is lovely, outdoor sitting area is lovely and comfy and we saw all sorts of animals. The bathroom is also great. Breakfast is across the street and is huge! The village is small and remote, but to me this is amazing. The rekawa turtle watch is a 5 minute walk, and before 7 you have the longest most amazing beach almost to yourself. There is a safe bathing place on Google maps with sunbeds and a little restaurant. This village is a gem.

Villa is amazing. Very clean, cozy. It has a big terrace and garden. Breakfast is the best that we tried in Sri-Lanka. 5 minutes walk to the rekawa turtle beach. Owner is hospitable and helpful. Very good place.

Overall really good. Its not a luxury villa or anything, and its pretty low-key but a nice, quiet place. You have to pay extra if you want A/C.

Pleasant villa with a nice garden and large kitchen. Great for a families tired of hotel rooms. Also its 5 minutes walk from Rekawa Beach. Lots of restaurants nearby so you dont have to bring food to cook. The owner can also help you with a great place to eat breakfast right across the road.

We rented both See Turtle Villas for a family of five adults over four nights, giving us plenty of space and a lush, private property to enjoy. (If you rent only one, the villas are spaced far enough apart for privacy.) Each villa was very clean and featured super comfortable canopy beds with bug nets, fans, and optional AC. Both villas had well-equipped kitchens and comfortable sitting areas. Although it rained during our stay, the property was so lovely that we were happy just to relax and read. The beautiful long beach is just a short walk down a quiet road with a few restaurants. We ate almost every night at the excellent ‘Ruwani’ restaurant across the street, which also offers reasonably priced breakfasts you can book through the property manager - who was also readily available when we had questions or requests. The location is peaceful and somewhat remote, with a small kiosk 1 km away and a grocery store accessible by tuk-tuk. For a relaxing oasis, this place was perfect! Highly recommended.

It does not have access to the beach which we understood from the description. It is a few minute walk - very close but still some distance.

The place is spacious with two big rooms with ac. It has a big garden and a nice sitting area outside. It is close to Rekawa Turtle Watch though not as close as it said in its description.

Nothing - just note the beach nearby has crazy strong waves. Strong swimmers only!

Fantastic location near the beach - comfortable and clean apartment. There were a few restaurants around and nice lagoon also. Kitchen was also fantastically equipped for those who like cooking!

Villa is not on Google maps so it was a bit hard to find, also there were quite a few insects eg. ants in the hall (not in the bedrooms though)

The host was very helpful, organized transport and take-away breakfast when we asked him (even helped to organize transport to our next destination when the car we were going with broke in the middle of the road), AC in the bedroom was working well, good breakfast, localization very close to the beach where turtles lay eggs

it was exceptional and so much more than we expected. the kitchen was very well equipped and everything was super clean! amil was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we need! If you are looking for a very calm place to recharge, this is it! a short walk to the turtle beach and roughly 10 min more along the coast to a place where you can swim. We absolutely loved it here!

Entire 2 bedroom villa in huge relaxing garden with hammocks 10 minute walk to beach Restaurants across the road and nearby Excellent service from Amila, constantly cleaning, helping around the villa, organising canoes (small charge for a lovely 1.5 hour late afternoon paddle in the lagoon), preparing wonderful breakfast with freshly made juices, fruit, yogurts, eggs, etc Amazing value for money Excellent WiFi A wonderful place to relax for a while - thank you Amila.

Place is very nice and relax. Good staff. Very past Wi fi . Turtles watching live in night only one place in Sri Lanka this beach. If you're after a peaceful retreat from busier tourist spots this could be it.Its super clean, spacious, modern, and you have it all to yourself. Near to lagoon and beach. Nice fully equipped kitchen and huge private garden for relaxing.10 out of 10!

It could have been cleaner in kitchen. Aircon worked fine in the 2 bedrooms but the rest of the bungalow was very hot as open to exterior incl mosquitos
