This hotel is really nice and just a few minutes walk from the beach. It has everything you need during your stay — a kitchen, a fridge, and a kettle. Very good value for money! The host is super kind and always here to help. He also offers other services, not only the hotel. There are many small cafés and restaurants around. I totally recommend !

Very price worthy. The dorm beds are nice with walls on each side and a curtain by your feet. Very calm and relaxed place. Lalith who runs the place is super nice and helped me with information and service about, transport, safari and general info about Sri Lanka. I felt very welcomed.

Dont come if you need good wifi, the wifi is very limited - it works but even scrolling social media was limited. Which has an upside because you spend less time on your phone and more time out exploring. However for work I would not recommend, nor is there a super comfortable place to sit and work on laptop. I would sit outside but get eaten by mosquitos and flies. So I would just go to other restaurants to work and that’s ok because it’s a hostel not a coworking space.

I stayed in the AC dorm for 2 nights then extended to 6 nights. Super friendly host and great location, I could walk to the beach, surf and great local + western restaurants when I wanted. Also in off season I found at times I was the only one in the dorm so for my case it was like a private room for the cheap price. I like how the dorms aren’t bunk beds but more like little makeshift capsule rooms with a curtain. Yes the facilities and rooms were basic, but it justified the price and still got free access to bottled water as well. There’s a kitchen, fridge, and it’s quiet. Not a party hostel which is what I wanted. I would recommend the AC room because it gets very hot and coming back to a cool dorm inbetween my sightseeing was great.

No A/C, but that was advertised and there was two fans in our room which kept it a nice temperature.

Our stay with Lalith was super lovely. He is an incredibly nice host and we were made to feel very welcome. The price compared to other places in town is pretty unbeatable, and it’s located extremely close to the beach, surf rentals, and all the restaurants. We had a great time, ended up staying for 2 extra nights than we originally planned. Lalith was super helpful and went above and beyond to give us heaps of advice and look after us. He even replaced the sheets and towels after a few nights. I would recommend this place to anyone! His brother runs a restaurant called Delicious Cafe just across the street aswell which served great and cheap authentic Sri Lankan food.

The AC room with bunk beds are great! Very spacious beds and lockers. The staff is incredibly helpful and sweet to arrange for you. The location is a short walk away from the beach and restaurants. Bathrooms are basic, but clean! Good value for the price

The water pressure in the showers wasnt great. They were kind enough to do our laundry but it didn’t come back very clean.

The beds were really big and comfortable. The hostel owner was very nice, we were able to book a scooter at the hostel for cheaper than most other places. The location was close to everything important, including the beach and restaurants. We felt very comfortable and stayed 3 days longer than originally planned.

The bed was really good 10/10.Bunks in the dorms are designed so each person has thier own little booth. Really comfortable Large mattress, and each booth has a light / eletric socket / curtain. Lalith is a super nice owner that helps you out so much. Very reasonably priced in the growing area of hiriketiya. The dorms are very comfortable and the location of the hostel is amazing! It is only a very short walk to the beach. I came back and extended here multiple times, because I really enjoyed my time here!

I have liked everything about my stay! The owner is the nicest man and very helpful, always making sure you have a comfortable stay! The location is just amazing - literally 2 minutes walk to the beach and all the restaurants, 5 min to the supermarket and liquoir shop etc. The bed was big and comfy, plug and little light and fan for everyone, curtain for privacy. It is a hostel, so do not expect luxury, it is basic, bud for very good price! The facilities were clean. You can easily meet new people, but it is not a party hostel (which I really liked as I wanted to have a good sleep and surf in the morning). Good luck! Bohomastuthi! :-)

I didn't actually stay at the property. The place had been overbooked, but looked nice. It was a very central location.. Might have been a confusion, as i canceled 1/2 nights. But the owner was very nice and apologized. He found me another place to stay and took me there on his motorbike! Just based on the kindness and problem solving, i would recommend
