Absolutely nothing!

Superb accommodation. Wonderful welcome, very comfortable room and outstanding meals. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

There were a lot of mosquitoes especially in the foyer of our building so it would help to have ventilation/some kind of incense burning here. Food in the restaurant was a tad pricey but you won't be disappointed.

Loved our suite, we were in the Queen Suite which was quiet, sparkling clean and simply enormous. The restaurant had very good Sri Lankan food, we had both breakfast and dinner there. At night, housekeeping always left us an elaborate towel animal and freshly picked flowers. A lovely touch!

Nothing - every element of our stay was perfect.

Location was very good; easy access to all the tourist attractions. It is a charming and lovely boutique hotel. Best of all, it was the exceptional service provided by every member of the staff. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, helpful and always eager to please and go beyond the call of duty. Special call out to Malintha and Dash who made our stay memorable. I would recommend this to my friends and family and would consider staying here again in my next visit to Sri Lanka.

Nothing negative to say.

This is the only hotel we’ve ever stayed at that stopped us wanting to go into the city we were there to visit. The second we walked through the bungalow and saw the view, we were in love! It’s a truly special, magical place and we feel lucky to have stayed. The decor is so elegant, the staff incredibly friendly and the views are just breathtaking! Cannot recommend a stay here more

The rooms are beautifully set apart & are spacious & extremely stylish. They are immaculately clean and every detail has been thought of. The restaurant area is lovely for an early evening drink and the food was amazing. The staff are attentive and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The driver Sarath Kumara was amazing. Our train from Kandy to Ella was cancelled due to a landslide and Sarath drove us all the way in torrential rain. He was courteous and drove so carefully and gave exceptional service!

The hot water in the shower only lasted for one shower. The food catered by the hotel, whilst it was really nice, was expensive (£100+ for two).

The setting was beautiful, pool was lovely. Staff were friendly and the room was a nice size. It was nice to be outside of Kandy in the hills rather than in the town.

While the Sri Lankan food was great, the Club Sandwich we had for a change of pace was the worst we’ve ever had by far - literally embarrassingly bad - too much bone dry powdery bread (not proper toast) and hardly any filling. Overseas prices in USD for food leaves one feeling taken advantage of.

Most everything was terrific, especially the design, grounds and staff.

Dinner was good but everything was marked up in USD - that’s an overreach.

The room was spectacular and the main building was classic SL/Kandian with a Bawa feel and the back yard, garden and pool were beautiful. Breakfast was tremendous.

We really liked the privacy offered by the hotel. It is ideal for someone who wants to spend time in a quiet place with natural beauty all around you. The staff was super friendly and showed high service levels. The food was delicious and tea served justice to the legacy of Ceylon tea. Though it is priced high compared to other properties, it is justified with the exclusivity it offers

everything was so nice

Just because of this hotel I love to come back to Kandy, what a special place, amazing rooms, great service and such a great spa& massage. We only plan to stay one night but extend it to 3 nights. Very boutique and personalized, hidden special property in greens. Hotel told us they plan to open a new place in Ella as well, maybe next time we can stay there too. I don't usually write a review to any pages but this time I really fall in love with this special place and decided to write and share it with other travelers.

Very remote from Kandy centre and nothing within walkable distance. Food was very expensive for quality provided. Common areas were just ok rather than anything special.

Spacious rooms in quiet location. Staff very friendly and helpful-particularly the Tuk Tuk driver who was excellent.
