Suri and his mother are just the sweetest people. We booked 3 nights and ended up staying for 5. They made us feel very welcome and always made sure we had everything we needed. Suri also helped us with the scooter rental and gave us good recommendations on what to do in and around Hiriketiya. The room had everything we needed. It was a big plus to have a fridge in the room. From the balcony you could see monkeys and peacocks. The location is perfect - it’s right between busy Hiriketiya beach and quiet Dickwella beach. The road between the 2 beaches is quite a steep hill so for those less mobile better to use a tuk tuk.

We absolutely loved our stay at Kolition Villa—it was honestly one of our favorite places in Sri Lanka! From the moment we got there, Suri, the owner, made us feel so welcome. He’s just lovely, always with a smile on his face, and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was perfect—super spacious, really clean, and so peaceful (well, apart from the peacocks, but we actually loved waking up to them!). Plus, the view of the ocean from the balcony was absolutely beautiful—it felt like the perfect spot to relax and take it all in. The location was spot on too. It’s just a short walk to Dickwella Beach, and Hiriketiya is only about 10 minutes away. We personally loved being in a quieter village area, surrounded by local families—it felt really peaceful and gave us a nice break from busier touristy spots. If you’re heading to Dickwella, we’d 100% recommend staying here. Kolition Villa was such a special place, and we’d go back in a heartbeat!

Good walking distance to Dikwella Beach and a tuk tuk drive or hilly walk to Hiriketiya. Was very clean and comfortable with AC. Views of ocean and can watch local monkeys from balcony. I highly recommend a meal at Smoke and Bitters and breakfast at Surf and Spice! The Hoppers down the road are also fresh and tasty!

The ground floor room we stayed in was a bit noisy in the evenings. Additionally, we noticed quite a few large ants in the room during our stay, which was a bit unsettling.

Great location, just a short walk to the beaches, coffee shops, and restaurants, which made our stay very convenient. The room was spacious and well-equipped, offering plenty of comfort for our trip. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few minor inconveniences.

We had a great stay at Kolition Villa. We planned to stay for 1 night and extended to 7 days. The rooms are clean and the view at the ocean is beautiful, especially when you wake up. It’s very quiet, still you reach good restaurants within a few minutes. The famous Smoke and Bitters is just a 1 min walk. To the beach you need 5 min. WiFi works well and the host is very nice.

The wifi didn’t work well the first few days, I don’t think it was the villas fault, even my data plan didn’t work well in the location. It worked much better the last day and a half so it’s probably fine most of the time.

I liked being in between Dikwella beach and hiriketiya beach, very close to both. The room AC was good and the room was comfortable. Suri and his family were so kind and helpful. Suri helped us arrange a day trip to Yala and helped us with transport when we needed it.

Nice Villa with Nice Family! Air condition Works and Moskito net is Great. Its perfectly between dikwella Beach and hiriketiya Beach. Surfing in hiri, Swimming and chillig is better in Dickwella. You have a private fridge Thats Great!
