Location and host are awesome

Little bit hard without AC as no windows are there

Sweet owner! For the price everything is really good. It’s simple but clean. He also give me a bigger room while I payed for the smaller one.

Amazing host, very kind and helpful. We got to choose our room between the two available. Great location near the beach, but if you go early morning there are fishermen and you can't swim. Good value for money.

Room was mouldy, especially the bathroom. The other room we didn't pick had an even stronger smell of mould. Avoid if you're allergic. There is little ventilation, and if it's very hot the fan doesn't help much. Consider AC if very hot

Nothing. If it was advertised the price would have been ok. See below for the details.we have literally stayed in 100s of hotels etcand never felt so compelled to write a negative review.

Filthy smelly dirty dingy mouldy room.we looked at 2 hoping for a better one with no luck.we have travelled extensively through Asia for many years and can handle cheap accommodation-no problems..it was getting late.we were tired and booked this place based on pictures and reviews on booking .com. apparently he has another place which is better unfortunately via this site you are sent to the accommodation as listed. We had only booked 10 minutes prior and asked for a refund. He refused. Anyone who rates this place above a 1 is kidding.

Location is really close to the beach, which offers insights to local fishing in the morning. The distance to town is walkable, but otherwise the host helps with a tuktuk ride. The accomodation lays in an authentic living area. I had a really good time there, the host was very friendly and there to help anytime.

For some reason I couldn't find the accomodation in the first place. The adress just sent me to a wrong place about 5 minutes walk away from the actual place, so maybe make sure conforming directions beforehand.

Best owner I have seen in Sri Lanka very friendly and always laughing. The house is near to the beach and bus station and all amenities.

Kunam was an excellent host, really helpful and welcoming. He's very kind. We used the pool facilities (for a fee) at the riviera resort.

The room was quite basic but we liked the two, connected room arrangement in our family room. The bathroom could have been cleaner. The beach is close by but not suitable for swimming and is in full sun.

- Bathroom was not clean at all. - Fan in bedroom was not working well and was too loud to sleep.

Quiet accommodative with all facilities.. very good hospitality with pleasing Ile from the staff.... Walkable distance to the seashore and highlight is an excellent spot to view sunrise.. we 10 of us enjoyed and had a great time 😌😌

All went on well

Kunam is a wonderfully kind & helpful man who goes out of his way to be accommodating, nothing is too much trouble. The room is basic but perfectly adequate. However, if you want AC the room rate is double the listed room rate. Kallady Beach is lovely & only a few minutes walk away. Kunan arranged bike hire, which was a great way to see Kallady & the old town, we spent a whole day exploring the area by bike which was brilliant.

The price for an AC room is very high.
