AustraliaThere was nothing not to like. However, WiFi could be better as it often dropped out.
Absolutely stunning property with modern amenities. Tucked away and private, often so quiet all you can hear are the birds. Very comfortable with thought put into creating several chill spaces which is great when traveling in a group. I love that there were multiple tv’s as well in each bedroom. The beds are super comfy with quality linen and showers had great water pressure. Our host Udara was an absolute delight, he was mindful of our privacy and never just showed up for caretaking unannounced. He cooks a pretty great omelette and the range of tasty curries he produced was impressive. The welcome pack of milk, tea & coffee was appreciated. The fireflies dancing in the warm night air at night were a lovely surprise. We will definitely stay here again when we return to beautiful Sri Lanka.

United Arab EmiratesBeds were hard and could do with mattress toppers. Could probably do with AC in the living area downstairs but there is AC throughout the rest of the house and in all bedrooms.
Lake Villa by Carlsen was a lovely place to stay with my family. Breakfast was great and Isuru and Rohitha cooked us some wonderful meals and took care of us during our stay. We definitely preferred their cooking to takeaway. The villa is lovely and modern and has a good family room upstairs with AC and nice views of the lake. Wifi worked well and netflix was active on the TVs. Fishing gear was also available.

Sri LankaThe Internet was slow, however, the host notified us beforehand. We'd love it if there were an AC in the common area. At least upstairs. After 4-5 ish, we couldn't open the windows because of mosquitos and it was super hot in the living area. There were fans, but since they were industrial fans, it was too loud.
Our stay was absolutely amazing! This was a relax and work trip for my employees and they loved it. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed with a refreshing cold drink. The caretaker went above and beyond, giving us a detailed tour of the house and its incredible amenities. They ensured that every aspect of our stay would be perfect. The attention to detail and care provided truly made a difference. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. This villa exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable! We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a memorable and luxurious getaway.
