The bathroom is clean but very basic. And the region has not much to offer , beside the great safaris of course. So don't add extra days for "chilling & exploring" .

The host is really kind , and the rooms are large. It is a very simple guesthouse , with 2 restaurants in about 5 min walking distance. And the tour aswell as the transfer arranged by the host worked both smoothly ! If you need a simple inexpensive place to stay , to do a safari , this place is really good !

This property is located in a quiet and peaceful area. Just a short walk from several restaurants. It's also conveniently close to the Hunuwilagama Entrance of Wilpattu National Park. The room was spacious and equipped with air conditioning along with essential amenities such as towels and toiletries. Both the room and the bathroom were spotlessly clean. All in all, it was a fantastic deal for the price. The host was friendly and helped us organize a safari in Wilpattu National Park. They also prepared a delicious breakfast of rice and curry for us to take on the safari upon request as well.

We had a room without ac, which is fine if the fan works properly, but the places where the beds were, were the spots where the fan did not really reach, so it was very hot in the room

Decent value for money considering the proximity to the national park. We had a fan room but they also had A/C rooms. Couple of minutes walk to a restaurant nearby. I’d recommend if you’re stopping off for a safari trip!

Windows and ventialation were without mosquito nets , so even if was all close mosquito can enter the flat, the bed have mosquitos nets but room is full of mosquitos..

The WiFi was great when it was on but I think it was switched off at times. I would happily spend a little more for the accommodation if the WiFi was reliable.

Reasonably priced budget accommodation with lovely staff but some with limited English. We booked a safari through them again at a reasonable price before we arrived. The Coco hut restaurant down the road does a great buffet. Definitely worth going as they are a lovely family who do great food.

All good, we did safari from this place and it was great, we got nice driver with his son and they did their Best to show us a lot of animals.

WiFi so slow it was practically useless. There wasn’t option to dine in and only restaurant in walkable distance (Leopards den) offers average Sri lankan cuisine for “white turist prices”. Two meals with two juices cost us same as accomodation for two days. If you plan doing Wilpattu tour organised by a hostel check if you have working binoculars! I made sure we have binoculars before leaving on tour only to find out it is broken once we actually wanted to use it. Trust me you dont want to by the only one who dont see a leopard because your optics are not working.

No wifi available. The staff were friendly but there was a lack of communication. I wanted to book a safari with them but struggled as I could not speak the language so we booked with a different company in the end. Perhaps they could have an information leaflet or something with the phone number to someone who speaks English? I had no idea they even served dinner, so went into town at night instead. Discovered the water refill and tea/coffee station by chance! You'll be fine if you speak the language though!

Perfect location for Wilpattu NP. Comfortable beds, clean room, cold shower had good pressure. Free water refill which is a huge plus! Good value for money.

On arrival, a person who could communicate in English or some venue instructions would have helped. A kettle with coffee and tea in the room would be good. But overall, value for money and a good jumping off point for Wilpattu NP.

The beds are short, if you are more than 1.85 - forget about comfort sleep. The owner was forcing to buy a safari from him very persistently, the pressure lasted more than 15 minutes.
