The best hotel of our holiday in Sri Lanka! The place is very quiet (only 3 rooms, 2 facing the swimming pool and one on the back). The hotel owner Jeremy is very keen to address any of your requests, with nice recommendations for swimming spots and eating places. The abundant breakfast is served on a very nice terrace, where you can also find an exquisite boutique. Treat yourself and book a room here!

This charming hotel, with only three rooms, offers a wonderfully relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. It is located right on the beach, perfect for long walks where you might even spot a turtle. The staff are incredibly kind and always willing to help, making the stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious, served with a beautiful view of the ocean. The property is spotless and tastefully decorated. A special mention goes to Jeremy and Julie’s clothing line – a visit to their lovely boutique is an absolute must!

Beautiful accommodation directly on the beach. We stayed in the pool view room which had stunning views over the pool and beach straight from bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Delicious breakfast in the morning. With it being a small property with only a handful of rooms it felt very private and a luxury stay. Short walk to some cafes and restaurants and short tuk tuk ride to hiriketiya. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit the area.

We had wonderful days at the end of our trip in Sri Lanka. It was the perfect place to find peace and quiet and relax. We went out in the waves several times a day with Jeremy's bodyboards, which was great fun and we had the bay to ourselves. The room, the staff and the place with its direct beach location and great pool are a real gem. Thank you so much! We will be back. 10/10 Stars

Parasol Dole is a little slice of heaven. We had the ultimate relaxation time where we were able to switch off from everything. The accommodation is beautiful. We loved the room, which had bi-folding doors directly out to the pool area and beach. The pool was clean and refreshing. We spent the majority of our time on the beach, which felt private as we were usually the only ones on it. There are body boards to use at your leisure and we had so much fun body boarding in the waves for hours on end. There is an area further up the beach that frequently has turtles, so we had the opportunity to snorkel and saw several turtles close to shore. The staff were so generous and hospitable. They kindly organised us tuk tuks into town whenever we needed, which always arrived within 10 minutes of booking. Roshan particularly went out of his way to recommend things to do in the area and offered to drive us round the town for some sightseeing. We couldn’t fault the service. We really enjoyed the breakfast. The pancakes, omelettes and fruit platter were exceptionally good! Highly recommend this serene and stunning boutique hotel and we will definitely return on our next visit to Sri Linka!

A stylish, comfortable and luxurious stay. This place is so special and you can see the love and care that went into this villa. Our room was spacious and looking out to the ocean. The beach is just a few steps away from the bedroom constertina doors that open completely. I loved the botique shop on the property with beautiful designer clothes. Lovely hosts and a really comfortable stay! There is also a beach nearby where you can swim with turtles!

What a hidden gem! Jeremy and the team are excellent hosts, attending to every request we had, whether it was transport, excursions, or restaurant bookings. The guesthouse is perfectly situated at a comfortable distance from both Dickwella and Hiriketiya, offering perfect peace and tranquility. There is a wide variety of traditional and modern dining options just a short tuk-tuk ride away. The place is immaculately clean, with the grounds extending to a gorgeous beach that was peacefully quiet (which we loved!). A big shout-out to Roshan and his lovely daughter Nikya, our trusty tour guide, who were brilliant in giving advice and organizing any outings we took. A fantastic stay with some great memories made. Highly recommended!

The Parasol Dore has the most fantastic position right on the beach. Very comfortable, simple room but with everything you need, very clean, great bathroom and with the most stunning view. Lying in bed listening to the crashing waves was very special. Julie and Jeremy are great hosts and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious all in all we had had a wonderful time.

Parasol Dore is a little intimate hotel that has a private beach and it's beautifully decorated in a minimalistic style. The stuff was very friendly and attentive always there to help. We loved the breakfasts that consisted of fresh fruits, smoothies, pancakes, traditional hoppers and eggs of your choice. This place is a gem and I can't recommend it enough.

Beautiful small hotel. Room opens directly onto clean, modern pool. Only 3 rooms so very quiet. Very private despite proximity to the pool. The hotel is directly on a very quiet beach (deserted compared to the very busy beaches nearby). All the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was very nice. Overall an excellent stay and great value for money.

Right now there is construction next door (I get that this is not the owners' fault but some communication ahead of time would have set the right expectations). It will take you a 10min tuktuk ride (500-600lkr) into hiriketyia - we didn't mind because it means you are really away from all the bustle :)

Great location, right by the beach! The beach is great for a swim and less than a 5min walk to Turtle point where you can snorkel and see fish and turtles! Great and varied breakfast with a view. The room is beautifully designed and was kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay!

My partner and I recently enjoyed a 4-night stay at Parasole Doré, and it was absolutely perfect. Our room was immaculate and beautifully designed, offering stunning ocean views through bifold doors equipped with one-way glass for added privacy. The property had a wonderfully spacious and relaxed atmosphere that made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was a daily highlight, with a variety of delicious options that changed each morning, keeping things fresh and exciting. However, the standout feature of our stay was the incredible staff. Parasol Dore is a gorgeous gem of a villa, situated on a small and quiet beach near Dickwella. We loved the location, very quiet but within walking or short tuk-tuk distance to Dickwella and Hiriketiya when we felt like “opting in” to those other places. Most of all we loved the staff - everyone - made us feel at home in ways we could never have expected! We are so grateful we could stay here.

You have to go by tuk tuk almost everywhere, but it is only a short ride. For us that wasn’t even negative because we liked the off the track place to enjoy some quiet rest. Maybe the covers for the sunbeds could be replaced, other than that there is absolutely nothing to say negatively.

Julie, Jeremy and all of their staff made our stay very special. They are very welcoming and helpful with all your requests. We really did feel like being their guests and not their customers. The house is really nice and spacious. It has only three guest rooms, so it makes it very special. We enjoyed the relaxing area. The whole place is equipped very lovely and most importantly very clean. The breakfast is amazing. Everyday you get served something new and all extra wishes or food allergies have been taken care of. You have access to a really great beach right in front of the house.
