From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The rooms were not only clean but also very cozy, giving us a real home-away-from-home feeling. The swimming pool was spotless and inviting, ideal for a refreshing dip after exploring the area. The team helped us organize an amazing safari, making our trip extra special. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of variety to start the day right. If you’re looking for comfort, cleanliness, and great service in Udawalawa, Lily Resort is the place to be!

The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The swimming pool was also extremely well maintained and perfect for relaxing. The staff kindly arranged a safari for us, which was a great experience. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Udawalawa

It’s a little remote which may not suit everyone.

Lovely attentive staff, always happy to help. Comfortable bed, good WiFi, good aircon, lovely pool. The manager communicated very well before and during the stay, nothing was too much trouble!

The hotel is located pretty far from town. So it's a hassle if you don't have your own vehicle.

The Lily Resort is an awesome place to stay while enjoying an elephant safari in Udawlawe National Park. And reasonably priced for what you receive. A great value. It's a small hotel with big, clean, well appointed rooms. It's located a few kilometers out if town and is very quiet. You can take a tuktuk into town. It's a bit tricky to find (Google maps wants you to take a turn that no longer exists if coming from the north and signs for the resort are pretty small wooden things). The staff at the resort (Shashi and Gayan) were excellent. Super responsive to any of our needs. We got our laundry done for 500 ruppees each (have them ironed). The owner was really helpful in booking an excellent safari. It's a bit spendy through them but our guide spent almost 6 hours with us, the resort provided food and we had a great time. Note that one safari is enough - you get bounced around a lot! Our room was spacious and clean with two queen and one single bed. The beds were firm but comfortable. The AC worked great, as did the instant on hot water heater. The towels were also really nice. The pool was great at the end of a long day on safari! It's a chlorine pool so watch your eyes. The food was generally excellent. The included breakfast was way to big for any normal appetite. Try the Sri Lankan breakfast for a real treat. And don't hesitate to ask Shashi for anything like more fruit, tea or any other food item. Overall this was a great place to stay while visiting Udawlawe.

We went there with our family its a A Perfect Getaway for Families. Food was excellent and tasty. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. We went on a safari at Udawalawa National Park and it was excellent we saw many elephants and other wild animals.

Lovely jungle location, not in a busy location. Incredibly peaceful. The pool was fantastic and a wonderful distraction for the kids from the jungle humidity, we all spent hours in it. The breakfast was unbelievable, my son has declared the Dhal is the best in Sri Lanka, I am included to agree. The staff went above and beyond and made us feel incredibly welcome. Would definitely come back to that resort

A fridge in the room to keep water cold, but everything else was perfect. The beds are comfy and the whole property is very clean

Shehan and Shashi were amazing, the service and the food was excellent. They were so accommodating to all our needs and dietary requirements. They recommended a place for dinner and organised a tuk tuk driver, they exceeded our expectations and more. I would highly recommend staying at the Lily resort

The family room we stayed in is situated close to the reception area, therefore you can hear voices from staff - at times loud when they are talking to each other from across the property. It didn’t bother us much but if you like your sleep it may bother you early in the morning.

There are 2 family rooms and 1 double room - we had the family room which has 2 double beds. Very comfortable! The area has lots of wildlife and the pool is great fun to play in.

A fridge is only improvement room could have

What an amazing find this place was. Upon arrival we received welcome drinks from the 2 members of staff who showed us to our room overlooking the pool with beautiful lighting. They cooked us a terrific meal and were very attentive without being intrusive. The room itself was spacious and I would say the only thing it could have done with was a small fridge but everything else you needed was there. Good air conditioning, storage, large bathroom and excellent shower. Our balcony area had sun chairs and table so you could enjoy a drink whilst overlooking the pretty garden and pool area. At the pool we were given complimentary drinks and they could not have done any more for us. The place is nicely situated, away from busy areas but close enough to safari at Udawalawa which we did and loved It was a shame to have to leave, Shehan is a fantastic cook and a very welcoming host, this place is a bargain and would recommend to anybody

Nothing, everything perfect.

I had a fantastic stay at Lily Resort Udawalawe. The rooms were comfortable, the food reasonably priced and delicious, and the pool was perfect for relaxing. The highlight was the safari tour arranged by the resort at a great price – an unforgettable experience.
