The Manager Wesly and Chandrika are very nice people. as per booking they offered me freeAirport pickup and breakfast only. But they even provide me tasty free lunch also along with other service...Best hotel for night/day after the flight and before to the flight. The Airporr is inly 10 mins drive trom the hotel...

Perfect for a pre or post flight stay. Lovely hospitality from Wes and his family who organised our lift (free of charge) and accommodated a breakfast at 5am! Would recommend if travelling Sri Lanka on a budget and needing the convenience of the location next to the airport.

We were so impressed with the incredible hospitality and wealth of travel knowledge from the host Wesley. The welcome was so genuine and warm it actually made our day. The ginger welcome drink and fresh fruit was delicious! We ordered dinner with Wes which was yummy and so affordable. A great place to stay on arrival or departure. The breakfast was great and the one way transfer to the airport was also included in the price. The rooms were air conditioned and very neat and tidy. The best value for money. Would definitely recommend!! Thanks Wes for making our last night in Sri Lanka so memorable!

Very convenient location. Close to the airport with free shuttle (car, tuk-tuk) arranged by well organized owner. Large garden surrounding the house to relax away from busy streets. Shopping for groceries within 10 minutes of walking distance. The owner shows great service and hospitality skills. He was full of very useful information for our Sri Lanka adventure and for life in general.

A lot of mosquitoes but the owner quickly burned some coconut and incense. I recommend bringing a mosquito net or strong insect killer spray (which we luckily had).

Great location, close to the airport yet very calm. Not many places for food around but you can order some freshly cooked food at the guest house if needed. The owner is extremely helpful and tries hard to make your stay as good as possible. Fresh delicious products from the garden were also served. Bonus was the free shuttle to the airport. The room is simple but good enough for one night and what you can expect for the price.

We liked tthe area and the proximity to the airport. Wesley is very hospitable and is taking good care of his guests. The dinner was amazing with the real Sri Lankan taste. We had Devilled chicken and Wesleys fried rice. The Den is recently opened so there is still some work to be done with the place. The free pickuo/ drop service worked very well with three wheler.

Conveniently located about 10 minutes from the airport for late night arrivals. The host was very gracious and thoughtful. The room was very clean. Landscaping provided fruit, so farm to table lovers would be pleased with this aspect. It's a quiet and quaint house.

It's no frills & this would have been perfect for what we wanted but unfortunately, I got a minor electric shock from the plug when attempting to make a cup of tea. I think this is probably unlucky & the owner assured me an electrician has since checked this.

The proximity to the airport is excellent & a free tuk tuk included, fantastic. The bed was very comfortable & the owner extremely welcoming & hospitable.

I had a pleasant stay at this property, which is located in a safe and peaceful area. Its proximity to the airport is a big plus, making it convenient for travelers. The property is new, and it’s exciting to see the plans for future development. One of the standout features is the large garden space, filled with a variety of fruit trees—perfect for nature lovers. The caretaker deserves a special mention for being incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring our stay was comfortable.

Absolutely recommend! 3-5 mins form airport, perfect spot for a night over! Room and bathroom clean, bed comfortable and air conditioning! Flight noises did not wake us up or caused us any troubles l. The hosts are amazing, very welcoming and friendly, we had dinner together and coffee in the morning! He can help you with whatever you need, from transport to tips/ what to see in the country or even a trip to the pharmacy if you need some essentials!! They have a garden full of different fruit trees that you can try on your breakfast. Includes a ride to the airport :)

The host, Wez, was so kind and went out of his way to make us comfortable. We arrived in later and hadn’t had dinner and he cooked it for us and then gave us a packed breakfast at 2.30 am for our early morning flight. The cost of a transfer to the airport was also included - could not give a more glowing review to Wez!!

Excellent value for money. The location was perfect for our family. We had a very early flight the next day and the host arranged transport for us at 2am. He woke us up with coffee and breakfast to go. The host family was incredibly friendly, informative and helpful. Absolutely recommend.

Lion Den villa was the perfect stay before our flight to go back home to Australia. Wesley the host was so welcoming, helpful and kind. He has a very impressive garden with many fruit and nut trees which we loved learning about through him. The room was very comfortable and clean & we enjoyed chatting with Wesley and the other guests.

The hot water heater wasn't working, but I think they are trying to get that fixed.

This property was great to stay in. Wesley, the owner is very accommodating and welcoming. We had breakfast in the morning of eggs, toast, fruit, etc. We really enjoyed it! He also walked us around the garden and showed us everything that they grow and some of the fruits we were eating.
