Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

LLT Wilpattu is a beautiful place to stay, set in the middle of a lovely garden full of birds – a peaceful and natural environment. The food was excellent, and the service was always warm and welcoming. The owner arranged a fantastic safari for us and even purchased the tickets online in advance, which saved us from waiting in a long queue at the park entrance (around 45 minutes). A special thanks goes to Raju, whose ever-present smile made our stay even more enjoyable.

Very pleased, neat houses, good bed. they will speak to you politely, it was my first safari and I was amazed. I really enjoyed the every bit of drive.

Super journey in the kuweni llt ! The owners are so Nice and gentle. They organised us an amazing safari. took us around the national park. saw many animals. good package provided. recommended.

amazing gem in wilpattu. run by a lovely family. A very chill, spacious room with nice big windows. The host took us for an incredible safari tour, going above & beyond to find us some time observing elephants and other wildlife. amazing adventure.

This stay was amazing from start to finish. When we arrived we were given tea and shown to our room straight away. We had time to chill out and have dinner at the stay. We then booked our 12 hour safari for the next morning through the stay for so cheap! The safari was amazing and our guide was so invested in allowing us to see as many animals as possible. Breakfast lunch and drink were also included in the price which was all amazing! When we arrived back to the stay we opted to have dinner again at our stay. This meal was one of the nicest and biggest meals I’ve had in all of my 5 month travel. It was 10/10. The staff were so accommodating and attentive. Anytime we left our room we were offered tea and coffee. The dogs were also a massive bonus felt so secure sitting out at night with them sitting at our feet. I could not recommend this stay anymore. Book here and make sure you book the safari through them! We got to see leopards! 🐆

really friendly and accommodating and helpful staff. Any and all request were met. Food was delicious specially breakfast. Their safari was amazing and the driver was the best guide. recommending doing here

The bathrooom could have been cleaner. I am personally no fan of the Owner/Manager - seemed not friendly. Communication could be a bit tiring - you just would not get any information out of them as to what time dinner could/would be, departure times and such. The garden was ok but not the greatest spot to hang out. The Safari is well organised - but it is THE business there. Even though am sure it is less crowded than Yala and such, am not sure I would do it again (even though we saw elephants and a leopard). The drivers go around in quite a speed (not sure how they would spot anything, we spotted most wildlife) and without a guide in the back of the jeep with you, you have no chance to communicate.
The rooms are ok - though we had one next to the seating area...that can be a bit noisy. Staff in general was nice and attentive. Beds are fine and have nets. In front of the rooms are tables to sit and hang out - food is served here as well. Note that you have to walk a bit for a restaurant or such, otherwise you gotta eat there. Food was ok but really not great. The owner organised a pick up from the airport. And of course they organised the safari. Note for the safari that often the driver is sitting inside the jeep whereas you are on top of the jeep - so no chance to communicate a lot. If you can organsise a naturalist or guide, do it - this will cost extra. And make sure, they know what they talk about....ours was nice, but spoke about 10 words the whole day. all in all it is ok and does what it says on the tin. It is a mystery to me though where all the top ratings stem from - I wished I had booked somewehere else.
