Kinda messy in the small room. No real place for bags or loose stuff. My curtains on the top bunk couldn’t close fully. No fan or AC, windows open so musquitoes. Bad sleep on the thin mattress

There was no soap in the washroom, no toilet paper and the stairs to climb the bunk bed were uncomfortable. In general the sleeping area didn't feel cosy and reliable, only outdoor area.

People say it's away from the main road, but it's still a noisy place. Even though it looks cool, it's a bit old, not cleaned well. People were nice and the breakfast was good

The rooms could be better, a paint job most likely and also the room right next to the door is often noisy due to cars passing in the street. Other than these, a great deal at this price.

Nice hostel in an amazing location, walking distance from the train station and all the happening places. The common lounge area was nice with beautiful paintings, staffs including the owner Bidushka and his family were smiling and helpful, and there was free breakfast.

Was a bit cramped and too few toilets. But othervise all good.

Really nice staff thats very helpful! They have a dog that can't get enough of petting. Very close to nine arch bridge and little adams peak.

Nice hostel, very clean and with good location! Close to Ella town center, also on the way to Little Adams Peak. The staff was nice and the breakfast was a good value. I have slept in the hallway for 2 nights which lacked a bit of a privacy and I found it much noisier that in the rooms.

I wasn't that impressed with the breakfast, especially since I have some dietery requierments. I guess it's ok if it's included in the package, but I wouldn't pay extra for it. But again, I can see the effort the owner puts in that too.

Probably the cleanest hostel I've been to. The owner goes up and beyond to maintain the space clean wich is really nice. He's running the place quite well. It's comfortable and quiet enough for a good sleep. Arriving in a room facing the street, I thought it will be hard to sleep, but that was not the case. And I just love the small front yard, it's so cute, especially in the evening with all the pretty lights!

Not far from ella train station, and very close to intercity bus stand, hostel location is on the side road , make it easy to find, nice staff, nice breakfast, clean, recomended hostel.

there is no door to the room, no way to cose the window completely and you might have to sleep on a bed in the hallway. really hard beds with thin mattresses but you get what tou pay for!

I booked and paid for 2 nights. But I decided to check out the next day. My bed has a blood stain, probably from the previous traveler. During my stay, I met good travelers, but this is the Mad Monkey that is kinda quiet. Maybe because it's Ella.

They have free breakfast. It's a 10 min walk to the Nine Arches Bridge. The staff was nice. It's very walkable from the train station and very affordable.

Lots of mosquitos - no fan or Ac My bed was broken and being held up by cardboard Mattress very thin although budget room so can’t really complain Other people could use the toilet allocated to our room No lockers or space for 4 travellers items / backpacks

Good location to little Adam’s peak, 9 arch bridge, restaurants and bars. It’s a very chilled hostel, the host Paritha was a sweet man happy to help at any moment.
