Great room facing the ocean, perfect location in town but not in the middle of town so its quiet enough. Lovely walks along the beach.

Excellent value for money,by far the cleanest place I stayed in on my month in Sr Lanka.If you can,get one of the 2 sea facing rooms with balcony then do so😁😁Food was great and the management were extremely good people.Very well appointed room with grt views,hot water,very comfy bed and a fridge,all for $35 a night.

AustraliaInternet didn’t work in our room but was fine downstairs at the cafe. The rooms toward the beachfront (above the cafe) are probably fine. We were at the other end toward the street. Note that this hotel is in the “noisy” area of hikkiduwa so you may hear the bar a few doors up throughout the night. We didn’t care - it wasn’t overly intrusive, just background noise :)
Fantastic. Includes a well priced, popular cafe on the beachfront with great swimming and good vibes. Room had big comfy beds with mosquito nets and a really nice feel. Good location and family run with good attention to detail (though presented as really laid back). One of my favourite places during our 2 month Asia trip.. it’s good!

Actually, this was our pre-last day from the two-week journey around Sri Lanka and we had the best breakfast on the whole island! Family-run, very nice people and on a terrifically beautiful beach where we walked a lot :). We whole-heartedly recommend it!

CanadaIt’s a lovely family run hotel. The room was not fancy but it was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. Everyone is friendly. There’s lots of loungers on the beach. The beach directly in front is too rough for swimming or snorkelling. It’d be perfect if you’re a surfer- but if you want to swim it’s a little bit of a walk past turtle beach to the swimming area. And then if you walk a bit further, there’s a beautiful reef to snorkel at. I think this was my favourite out of all the hotels that I stayed at in Sri Lanka.

ItalyWifi wasn't working perfectly. If you're looking for a guest house with host making you breakfast or giving advices this is not the place: this is more like a regular hotel on the beach.
Room is essential but perfectly fine for just few days. The best thing of this place is the position, just on the beach and between the two main surf spots.

FranceI found some little, almost invisible insects on the table. A bit uncomfortable but seems they are quite common in the hotels near the sand. A bit overpriced comparing to our other hotel rooms in Weligama and Mirissa. Maybe it’s a typical price for Hikkaduwa. Floor carpets a bit dirty and not fresh. Chair pillows also not fresh.
The location is the best. Right on the beach with a nice view (if you have a room with ocean view). We had a view to another villa and it was a bit dark in the room. A/C and a fan. Bathroom is very clean and spacious with a lot of hangers, a cup for soap and a toothbrushes. Little table with tea, coffee and a kettle. A small refrigerator helped us to hide our sweets from ants.
