The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. We all felt super comfortable and enjoyed our stay very much. The breakfast they made was exceptional. They took the term homestay to another level for us and we were actually sad to leave. A wonderful family!!

Prompt communication, responsive hosts who make every effort to ensure a comfortable stay. Parking available. Clean rooms. Breakfast was fine!

We really enjoyed our time here — the atmosphere was calm and peaceful, just what we needed. The host was kind and even brought us a refreshing juice one afternoon, which was such a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was tasty and filling, and overall everything felt easy and welcoming. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quiet, comfortable spot to unwind.

WIFI is a little patchy from times to times, that's all.

During our stay in Sri Lanka, we enjoyed this accommodation immensely. The owners are incredibly sweet and hospitable people who go out of their way to make you feel at home. The room was nicely decorated, air-conditioned and above all very clean, something we really appreciate during a trip. The bathroom was also neat and well-maintained. Although the location is a bit further from the city centre, we did not find this at all disturbing. On the contrary, it was nice to come back in peace after a busy day. Definitely recommended.

+ The cleanest place in Sri Lanka so far :) + Extremely hospitable hosts + There are fans at the rooms. In one of the rooms there is a TV. + They bought an anti mosquito tool for the rooms + Excellent location for Little Adam's Peak and Nine Arch Bridge It's a homestay. The water is from a solar boiler, so it's mostly available in the evenings. The windows are with wooden open covers and it gives close to nature experience. We recommend the place. There are 3 rooms with private bathrooms.

We really enjoyed our stay at Maya 44. The host family was everything we could have wished for. They made the best breakfast and helped us during our stay with everything. We where able to reach them whenever we had a question or request. They, mother, father, son and grandchild are super friendly and the rooms where clean and brandnew. We would highly recommend other people to go here during their stay in Ella and we would love to come back one day!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at MAYA 44! The family's hospitality was top-notch - they made me feel right at home. The breakfast spread was delicious, and the rooms were sparkling clean with comfortable beds. What truly made my stay special, though, were the warm smiley faces of the family. They were always ready to help and made sure I had everything I needed. The location is also super convenient and easy to reach. Quite new accommodation and mostly nice surroundings despite other acco around. Didn't wake up to noises at night. Quite clean room and overall comfortable bed. Breakfast was decent.

Well, bathroom could've been cleanier despite not being dirty either. Staff was overly friendly and slightly tryhard. Things can be done using English but the results vary. A weird blanket in the room.

I was already happy to find a cozy quiet place to stay, and later I found out that I was the very first guest in this homestay business. Beginner's luck gave me an opportunity to switch rooms to one with a view of nearby rocks. All rooms were clean and the guestrooms are on a separate floor. the family is very welcoming and I wanted to extend my stay there, but all rooms were already booked for the next day.

The host was very friendly and kind, they provided us a delicious meal the rooms are spacious and clean, tea making facilities were available, overall it was a pleasant stay !
