There is only one hair dryer in the common area of the hotel. If someone is using it, you have to wait until they finish and put it back in the closet. Sometimes we couldn’t use it when we were in a hurry because of this.

What can I say other than perfect? Carol and her team did everything to make us feel special and happy all the time. The hotel’s peaceful and carefully designed atmosphere, calm vibe, and inspiring colors were truly enjoyable. We also loved trying different Sri Lankan flavors at breakfast. We’re so thankful for every happy moment spent with the four sweet dogs and under the palm trees. Anyone who wants to feel refreshed and happy should definitely come here.

The Mayava Villa was the best place we stayed during our travels in Sri Lanka. It is a hidden gem in Ahangama, so dont miss it. The lovely owner Carol, together with the staff members, made our stay truly exceptional. It is not only spotlessly clean but also a perfect place to relax. We hope to come back one day :).

It’s the perfect retreat to enjoy a more relaxed vibe in Angahma. Beautiful, peaceful, and comfortable — it truly felt like home. The breakfast was local with a mix of continental and it was delicious. The staff were absolutely incredible! I wish I were still there and can’t wait to return!

We loved the design of the room, the furniture, the attentive staff and the food! Each day the breakfast is a slightly different menu, and utterly delicious. The property sits off of the main road, down an easy access track. This removes all noise, making it very peaceful. We really liked having our own allocated seating area where we could hang out by the pool & eat breakfast. We completely fell in love with Mayava, and almost don't want to write this review so it remains a secret! You can tell that Carol has put a lot of thought into each aspect of the property, and the experience of staying. Oh and there is also a pretty yoga platform that is great for yoga / workouts.

This hidden gem is brand new and absolutely stunning! It is very close to the beach and many delicious restaurants. It's Very charming w all attention to every detail! The owner Carol, is so kind and helpful and has a wonderful staff. They all go out of their way to make you feel at home. The bed is extremely comfortable in which I have not had in any other hotel , so I was so happy. The breakfast menu is well curated. I can't say enough about this peaceful Paradise little jungalow. ♡

Mayava villa is a hidden gem in Ahangama! The villa is amazing a bit behind from the Main Street which is great because you avoid all the noise and you can enjoy some tranquility! It is 2 min walking from the beach and 5 min from all the bars, restaurants etc.. The villa it self is amazing, very good aesthetics and the staff is very kind! The breakfast was also one of the highlights of our stay which we loved it :) definitely recommend it!
