Very steep mountain to climb, maybe challenging for people with physical disabilities.

Quiet and spacious rooms for very reasonable price. Only 5-7 Minutes away from the main street. Super delicious breakfast with mountain views and very polite owner. No Ac but a good fan and mosquitonets. Definitely recommend!

A very steep hill to go up to the property but the owner was very helpful! Picked me up from the train station! The last part of the street is very narrow so big van can’t get in. I booked transportation with a big van so had to walk a little bit, but no big deal, the driver also helped me.

Very very clean!! Well maintained! Very kind owner couple! Close to the train station. 5min walk to the main restaurant area. Quiet at night. Comfortable bed! I had the best sleep! There are clothes hangers that can be moved outside to dry your clothes. I would stay here again if I come back to Ella!

Beautiful place, quiet, forest around, birds singing, squirrels running. Neare to city center, any restorans, nine arches bridge 2.5 km. Highly recommend

Greeted by another wonderful Sri Lankan host, we were shown to a very large, clean, and comfortable room. Our own balcony shaded by Bougainvillea was home to many small birds. Our delightful and plentiful Srilankan breakfast was brought up to our balcony. Mountain Nest was a short walk to the Kandy lake and not too far to walk to the Temple of the Tooth , Buddhist museum , and the center of Kandy Town. Wonderful stay and highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay in Mountain Nest. We stayed for two nights and we could reach the centre of Ella in a few minutes by walking. The rooms were incredibly clean and the hosts were so friendly. The view when enjoying breakfast is perfect with the morning sun. Definitely recommend!

It was lovely to be high up felt like u in the jungle. Would definitely stay again. So quiet compared to the town and its only a 5 minute walk. The family were lovely. We had a tuk tuk which they parked in their families property below which was perfect, so they say no parking but they do next door

Not really a complaint but be warned the hill up to the property is VERY steep. Nothing in particular but a few amenities would be good like tea bags, soap etc

Great location a short walk from the town. Still very quiet in the evenings. Room and bathroom super clean and bed very comfy. Would definitely recommend! Host is so sweet and friendly :)

The location is great with birds sound is amazing. About 7 minutes walk to the center from middle of green routes that is stunning. It has a little ramp to up like hiking about 30 seconds which has worth it

There’s a little uphill walk to get to the property, but it’s a nice bit of exercise.

Mountain nest was the most wonderful place to stay! Our favourite so far in Sri Lanka. We booked for 1 night and ended up staying 4. The room was immaculately clean and it was close to the Main Street but out the way so it’s really peaceful. The lady who runs it is very friendly and even brought us tea and biscuits when we arrived! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay ❤️
