It’s very green and has lot of birds chirping. Very peaceful and good location for all tourist places. Suraj, the host is very kind and helpful. Would 100% recommend the stay if you want to go to stay in Kandy.

Our room was big and had an amazing view. The owner and housekeeper are absolutely lovely and welcoming people. The housekeeper even spoke Italian:) We had breakfast there which was super delicious! So I recommend trying what they cook because they’re really good. If you don’t mind staying a bit more in the silent side streets of Kandy, it’s perfect here, and also better to sleep through ;) Also the rooms have warm water showers.

It was amazing calm and quiet place for stay... My room was so clean and nice I like the furniture they have used to build the place... it's totally worth for my money to stay at there.. owner also an pretty good man he treated me very well... I'll definitely going to stay again in there...☺️ Totally recommend...

The booking was for a Double Room with Patio, and this room doesn't exactly have a patio, and is a bit dark. The upstairs shared balcony, nonetheless, was lovely. Also the internet was a bit spotty, though I understand this is being worked on.

I can't say enough kind things about this place. It's in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, surrounded by trees, flowers, and greenery, perfect for rest and relaxation. Town is a short tuktuk ride away -- or, a fairly easy downhill walk. The house is spacious and clean. I'm so glad to have had the opportunity to meet and spend time with Suraj the host, and the lovely cook Vishakha. They are both such gems: friendly, welcoming, bright, communicative, and just an absolute pleasure to be around. The food is excellent. Lovely all around!

The owners of the hotel are very kind. The location is not very close to the center, but is a super quiet area. You can have dinner and breakfast at the accomodation directly. The room was huge.

Great location just outside of town, takes around 15 minutes to walk in and can easily grab a tuktuk if needed. The place was clean and staff really friendly.

It's a little bit of a walk from the centre, but we were in Kandy during the festival, so we were happy to be staying out of the way of the crowds!

Mystique Hideout is a beautiful spot, out of the way of Kandy city centre. The view from our balcony was idyllic. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious!

The house is clean and fresh, a home away from home. Raj is a gem of a man! Knowledgeable and helpful in your needs. You could say he's sweeter than the sweetest tea. 🍵 The location is away from the busy centre which makes for a relaxing retreat. The housekeeper he has is friendly and the breakfast is served with a smile and is finger licking good. If you need anything like you're laundry doing then the team are happy to help. I arrived drained and I left mystified! ✨️

Raj is a great host and the homestay is just beauitful. We loved our time there and we could’ve stayed longer. If it’s available, book it! I think it is the best budget friendly option near Kandy.

Very cute guesthouse, I felt very welcomed by the owner. It’s easy to get to the city by TukTuk. It’s very quiet compared to the city itself.

Very nice accomodation a bit outside the center, however, by tuktuk easy reachable. The room was clean and had great views. We could use the balcony for relaxing.

We weren't aware that the room had a separated bathroom or the exact location of the house. The second one wasn't deceiving, as it provided us with a calm environment, just be aware of the tuktuk trips to the center.

We liked everything about our stay. The breakfast was really great and a perfect start to the day. Our room was very comfy with a great view. Best of all for us was the host, a truly caring and thoughtful person. We spent a lot of time having very deep and meaningful conversations with him. If we ever visit Kandy again, we would definitely stay with him again and for longer next time.
