We stayed at the hotel for a couple nights to explore Sigirya and Dambulla. The location is right about in the middle. The rooms are spacious, airconditioned but the road is closeby so keep that in mind if you’re a light sleeper. The family is super friendly, no ask is too big. We had some very tasty dinners and fresh mango juice in the morning, amazing. They also organise the safari tours to Kaudulla National Park, the highlight of the trip for us, we got lucky and got to see the big male elephants with tusks. Overall we had a very enjoyable experience.

This is a very nice place to stay in Sri Lanka. The host picked us up from the airport and helped us with organizing additional trips and transport. Breakfast was good; an additional home made dinner was delicious.

I had such a fantastic time at the Nature Lotus Villa, the staff couldn't be more helpful and really went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. It's a family run villa and you are treated like family. Which I loved. I ate there every evening, and the food was outstanding, it was all fresh and homemade by Indo. I would highly recommend eating there. Indo was so inquisitive and asked me what types of food I would like, and she would then make it for me. The price was very reasonable also. I hadn't planned any trips, but nuwan with all his expert local knowledge, was able to book me two trips. Both trips were very reasonably priced. Highly recommended. I couldn't recommend this place enough!

It is placed off the street and offers a stunning view from the Room balcony. The host family is super lovely and helpful! Also enjoyed rich and local breakfast + dinner. Peacocks and squirrels will be your permanent guests. Definitely highly recommended!

We had an excellent stay. Everything was perfect! the room, the setting, the dinners and Nowen and his family do everything to make your stay pleasant. The walk around the lake is superb and a temple 15 minutes away on foot offers a splendid view of the surrounding mountains. The price of the services is very reasonable. (safari, transport...) you can trust them. Thanks for everything! 10/10

The owner nicely send us a text saying he will come and pick us up at the bus station when we arrived. But we’ve learnt the next day that it was a paying service, but it looked more like a gesture than a paying ride, because he never ever mentioned or warned us about it before arriving or while picking us up. The room was very close from the main road, but not that noisy. We had the pleasure and the surprise to be woken up by construction work that occurred on the roof, right on top of our room. The noise was really loud and started around 7 am, impossible to go back to sleep after that. No one warned us the evening we arrived. When we booked the room, we read that bikes where free and available if not being used. Though they haven’t mention any of that at any moment, and we did not see bikes anywhere.

-Spotless rooms, almost brand new. -Lovely family crew that helps you with all your needs, always with a smile. -Dinner available under request, all is homemade food made by mum Indu who cooks the best Dahl and Chicken curry I ever tried after 3 weeks in the Island, good place to taste real local food. -Nuwan can arrange for you a Safari to any of the National parks around. (follow his recommendations as he knows which one has better chances to see elephants depending of the season) -Good location near Sigiriya and National parks.

Very clean and spacious room. Very nice terrasse with view to the jungle and Lake view the wild monkeys playing there. Very nice owner. He helped us organising a great safari with a guide who was respectful with the animals .We also had a nice ayurvedic spa treatment which the owner recommended. Many thanks to Nuwan and his family!

This villa run by a family and everyone was very friendly. The location is vary convenient as it is on the main road and facing towards a beautiful lake. Breakfast and morning tea were delicious. The stay was worth for money. Highly recommended.
