The villa had power and water cuts during the stay, but this was Sigiriya-wide and not the hotel's fault

Off the strip in a quiet area, with great views of Sigiriya Rock, but just a short walk to the Rock and to the restaurants and bars. The villa restaurant is excellent, open with super views. The staff-team are kind and helpful, rooms are nice, and the dining pool an oasis. Threes a lot of choice in Sigiriya but is stay here again

Spent one night here and loved it! It was quiet as it was off season, but felt like we had the whole place to ourselves! Staff were amazing and so attentive. Room was lovely, and had the most amazing view of Lions Rock. Would highly recommend for a peaceful stay in Sigirya. Great location!

Wonderful view to lions rock from the terrace, where we took our breakfast. The pool was good but the sunbeds were not comfy to enjoy the poolside. The room was basic and a bit dirty - for example there was a lot of dust on the mosquito net over the bed. There was a terrace in front of our room but the seating was not confortable to chill. The staff were lovely and helpful.

Unfortunately we couldn't stay long as my daughter caught dengue fever. But all I can say is that this family is exceptional and takes great care of you. They helped me bring my daughter's temperature down and supported me from start to finish, and helped me find the doctors. They looked after us, packed us a lunch quickly for the journey to the hospital. I really recommend this place for the care and attention it gives you and the magnificent setting. PS: the view of the rock is just waouh.

The pool area needs a bit of TLC and staying for 3 nights they should have cleaned our room / emptied the bin etc.

The location is gorgeous, the pool is in a rice field and the bar has a beautiful view of the field and Sigaria rock. The staff are lovely For the money this is a nice place to stay. It's also walking distance to sights

It was a bit noisy depending on the neighbours and prayers nearby which we could clearly hear in the room.

The people were very helpful, and served good food in the restaurant when required. The view is amazing! The room was also fine.

Rooms are basic

Location is amazing. Excellent view of Lion Rock. Would be easy to walk to Lion Rock entrance. Nelu is surrounded by lovely rice fields and in a short walk there is a very pretty lake. The restaurant has great views. Excellent cook, very flexible and cooked whatever we asked for. Staff and super nice.

Definitely needs a mosquito net over bathroom window. Also restaurent above my room started shuffling furniture at 7am just one morning.

Quiet and attractive. Not in center but short walk to it, avoiding traffic noise. Restaurent view over surrounding rice paddies with exotic birds hovering about. Owner is very accommodating to guests needs.

The view is amazing and it’s close to Sigiriya and Pidurangala Rock, but if you wanna visit Polonnaruwa and Dambulla you have to take every time a 30mis tuktuk

You can see Sigiriya Rock from your room and while you enjoy breakfast! You are sorrounded by rice plantation in a quiet area with a nice pool where to relax The staff is great :)

We really enjoyed our time in Sigirya. The Staff was really friendly and helpful. We booked a elephant Safari with them. We had a jeep just for ourselfs and saw many elephants. The two guides were great in spotting and reading the animals.Great recommondation!

The breakfast and fruit juice was so tasty, staff were very attentive and friendly, clean pool to cool out in on the property and enjoy the scenery, easy check-in and check-out. There was a lovely view of Sigiriya Rock from the balcony and the property was close to the lake which was lovely when going for a walk in the morning to listen to the birds. There wasn't much traffic on the road so there were no external noises, dogs barking, etc. at night or early morning so we were able to get a proper rest there. I'd stay here again if I was to visit again!
