Reviews of Nelu Villa Sigiriya

We had a wonderful stay at Nelu Villa in Sigiriya. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel very comfortable. Our room was cozy and came with a mosquito net. The pool was fantastic – a perfect way to cool off after a hot day. The bar service was excellent, and the lassis were absolutely delicious. We really enjoyed our time and would highly recommend staying here.

The location is great with direct view over the Lion's Rock. You're a short walk from the main streets with restaurants. Staff is awesome! Super friendly. They'll arrange transports for you and make you recommandations on places to visit. We have had a great stay there and highly recommend it.

Off the strip in a quiet area, with great views of Sigiriya Rock, but just a short walk to the Rock and to the restaurants and bars. The villa restaurant is excellent, open with super views. The staff-team are kind and helpful, rooms are nice, and the dining pool an oasis. Threes a lot of choice in Sigiriya but is stay here again

The villa had power and water cuts during the stay, but this was Sigiriya-wide and not the hotel's fault

There were no dustbin. Internet connextivity problems and not smooth. Walls not clean. Lizard in room. Curtains too short of glass doors.

Everything was amazing, I can’t imagine staying anywhere better in Sigyria. The hosts were so helpful, and the property was so beautiful. You can see the rock from the garden, and it’s only a 30 minute walk there. Nice area, lots of restaurants down the road. Couldn’t recommend enough! We loved the deluxe double room as we had a balcony too.

Spent one night here and loved it! It was quiet as it was off season, but felt like we had the whole place to ourselves! Staff were amazing and so attentive. Room was lovely, and had the most amazing view of Lions Rock. Would highly recommend for a peaceful stay in Sigirya. Great location!

Breakfast not included: it's a pity. Lack of intimacy in front of the room because the owner was gardening just in front.

We had a great stay here in February. The room was spacious with a mosquito net, good wifi, comfortable bedding and spacious bathroom. The pool was amazing to cool down in after a big day out. The views of Sigiriya rock from the restaurant balcony was amazing. The motel is located down a quiet road not too far from the main town. Restaurants, bus station and Sigiriya rock and the main town were all within walking distance. The staff and particularly the hotel manager were very friendly and ensured that we had a comfortable stay.

Wonderful view to lions rock from the terrace, where we took our breakfast. The pool was good but the sunbeds were not comfy to enjoy the poolside. The room was basic and a bit dirty - for example there was a lot of dust on the mosquito net over the bed. There was a terrace in front of our room but the seating was not confortable to chill. The staff were lovely and helpful.
