IndiaOne of the best properties we stayed at during our entire trip. The host family was super friendly, gave us welcome drinks upon arrival. Our rooms were beautiful and very clean. It's a short distance from the Galle fort and we could easily get tuktuks to get around. We had the entire upper floor to ourselves, so it was convenient to relax in the common area while it rained outside. We were able to order food online, and the hosts gave us plates and cutlery for the same. On our last evening, they even invited us for a feast they were hosting for friends and family, and insisted we joined - it was a great introduction to the local culture and a very memorable stay for us.

Beautifully presented villa with a large room, comfortable bed and fabulous bathroom. The owners were attentive and kind, very smiley. 20 minute walk to the fort or easy to get a tuk tuk. Nice and peaceful away from the city if you don't mind trekking in for the sightseeing. Easy accces to the train and bus station. I stayed an extra 2 nights. The fort is definitely worth a couple of days exploring and Unawatuna beach is just 20 minutes tuk tuk ride. Use pickme to avoid high costs in street tuk tuks.

United StatesThe property is located in a quieter part of Galle. You can choose to walk 30 minutes to the Galle fort area or grab a tuktuk. We did both and didn’t mind the walk! The owner is very friendly and his wife brought out a welcome drink and let us decompress. Our room and bathroom were clean and the AC works very well. We had a beautiful stay at this place. The room was very clean and smelled fresh. The host welcomed us with great warmth and treated us to a delicious chilled drink, which was exactly what we needed after a long journey. It’s located on a quiet side street, not far from the tram stop. The WiFi was the best we’ve had so far in Sri Lanka, and we’ve stayed in four different places. There are great restaurants nearby. The price is very low for this gem. We highly recommend it!

ThailandA great place to stay in Galle. The bed was comfortable, the AC good and the bathroom exceptional! About a 20 minute walk from Galle centre but tuktuks are easily available. The breakfast was huge and tasty. A scooter is also available for hire if you want to explore the beaches along the coast. Recommended!

The owner and his wife were so, so kind and very helpful and they speak both English and Korean well. The location is quite good even though it's not in the Galle Fort center and it is near a bus stop that will bring you there. The rooms were the most comfortable ones I have been in so far and had mosquito nets, multiple outlets, and air conditioning that worked very well. I ended up extending for another night. Breakfast is great too.

Amazing bathroom with toiletries and the best shower pressure and temperature we had in the whole of Sri Lanka. Great location just outside of Galle in a quiet street. And to top it off, the family are such friendly and helpful people. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Everything was brilliant. I arrived at 6am, I wasn't supposed to arrive until 11am, after my tour in Marissa was cancelled due to weather however I was accommodated instantly and nothing was to much trouble for the owners. Bed comfy, shower brilliant. You are 5-10 mins from the fort but next door neighbour of property is available at all times take you and pick you to where you need to go. Brilliant service.
