We loved it so much we ended up staying an extra night. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the whole atmosphere is calm and peaceful. There are only few rooms, so it feels cozy and quiet, perfect for relaxing. You’re surrounded by jungle sounds, with access to a peaceful lake and a nearby beach for long walks. Breakfast was amazing, huge portions and full of flavor. The staff is incredibly kind and genuinely cares about your comfort. Highly recommended.

Room lighting. No natural light possibility without opening the doors or windows. Electricity power cut off and not stable. Wifi very very poor. No ventilators in the restaurant. Not enough hangers and plugs.

It was very peaceful, the pool was beautiful and the rooms were amazing. The outdoor bathroom is pretty special and the style is great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a few cocktails and a meal which were also good. The breakfast included was a very generous serving and delicious!

Fabulous large rooms. We were in room 1 facing the pool. Had a lovely deck area overlooking the pool. Bathroom is outdoor, large and very well equipped. Room had kettle and fridge. Rooms and the rest of the hotel are very clean and well maintained. Staff are very friendly and helpfu. Hotel has a Tuk Tuk to ferry you around at a small cost. Hotel has its own access onto the lagoon with a lovely seating place & swing. It’s a short walk to Turtle Beach and there are many restaurants within easy walking distance. Breakfasts were plentiful and amazing. It a very chilled place.

Quite location ten minutes walk from the beach (where you can have an escorted walk to see Turtles laying their eggs at night). Sea too rough for swimming. Fabulous pool large enough for a proper swim. Comfortable large bed.

For us personally it was a little bit too far away from everything. Only a couple local restaurants around. The sea was too wild at that location to be able to get in.

Friendly staff, good food at the restaurant, very nice bungalow and very beautiful and really clean swimming pool. They cleaned it every morning for an hour. The beach was on walking distance. Nice view over the lagoon.

The only inconvenience is no every day cleaning. We’ve stayed 4 nights and our bedroom hasn’t been cleaned.

Swimming pool is amazing. It’s long enough for active swimmers, nicely illuminated in the night. They have best chef and the best food. Since there’re only 4 cabins it’s super peaceful and quiet. Staff is very helpful with whatever you think of (transport option or massage).

Wonderful quiet place! Great swimming pool, the manager, mr Nipuna, was very helpful and friendly. Although close to the Lagune, no mosquitoes! Just for the feeling of safety, a safe in each Villa would be helpful. Good place to start trips around Tangalle but also to stay the day at the pool.

The rooms could be brighter, but this is a design choice. And the meal choices can be improved.

The hotel is brand new with very few rooms which are generously sized. The pool is great and big enough for a swim. Nipuna and the team were very attentive and accommodated any requests swiftly. The locations is 5 minutes walk from the beach and right next to a beautiful spot to watch sunset on the lagoon.

If you like peace and quiet then this is your kind of place. I absolutely loved my stay at Omkara and wish I could have stayed longer. The staff went above and beyond with their service. The accommodation was beautiful, the room was big and the bed was super comfy. It is just a short walk to Rekawa beach which is the perfect place to relax.

This was a lovely find in Tangalle. The room was extremely clean and the outdoor bathroom was clean too. The staff was wonderful and very attentive. The food at the restaurant is also amazing! We very much enjoyed our stay here and would come back.

There was no fridge in the room which is often very useful for storing water. The menu for dinner was quite limited and we felt it was very overpriced. Breakfast was ok but quite limited compared to what we’ve had in other, cheaper hotels.

In a beautiful setting with loads of privacy and nature around you. The room was big and the open air bathroom was wonderful. Amazing location, you can walk to the lagoon from the property and also access the beach which was empty and idyllic!

A large, beautiful, clean, spacious villa with an amazing outdoor bathroom. Complete privacy, a very peaceful and quiet place. I can't imagine a better place to relax. You can choose from 3 types of breakfast, 2 of which are Sri Lankan. All of them are very tasty. The accommodation is located near the lagoon and a beautiful beach, which you almost have to yourself. The staff is very kind, helpful, and accommodating. They will advise and assist with everything. My husband and I started our holiday in Sri Lanka at this place, then traveled around the island, and returned to Omkara for the last 3 nights. The most beautiful accommodation we've ever had, and we will always be happy to come back. We wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.

Super clean and spatious villas. Beautiful designed with large comfy bed. Staff can speak English fluently and are super friendly. You can have food here, for sure try the curry. Very good location close to turtle beach, where you have the coast almost for yourself.
