The non ac dorms got a little warm some nights but really not an issue for the price.

Great location walking distance to everything and super friendly staff. Had more of a homestay/coliving vibe which I much preferred over some of the more hectic party hostels I stayed at in the area. Nice small social communal area to hang out or work. Bonus having a kitchen and a super friendly puppy Mango. I extended my stay too!

There isn’t anything I don’t like about the property, I think the wifi/service was abit poor but other then that no complaints at all. Highly recommend

Lovely home, friendly staff & amazing little puppy! Rooms were clean + the other guests were also very friendly, a good atmosphere all around. The kitchen is spacious & the location is very close to both beaches. Can’t fault much, expanded my stay another night & would definitely come back . (PS you will get attached to the puppy🥹)

A very nice hostel in a great location, quick walk to both Dikwella and Hiriketiya beach with some nice and reasonable restaurants nearby too. The dorm was very clean with comfortable beds and enough fans to stay cool at night and lockers to keep your valuables. A cozy chill area outside to relax and chat to others and play with the very cute puppy 😊 The host is lovely and there is an overall nice vibe in the hostel. Would recommend it to anyone to stay there!

Super friendly staff, close to the beach. Even has a kitchen if you want to prepare your own food. Would highly reccomend.

Nice place to hang out. Location was perfect for us - close to Dikwella beach and shops and also close to Hiri so a great choice of restaurants and places to go. Sofa's and communal area inside and out and the dogs were nice to have around Double room had aircon, mozzie net, comfortable bed. Communal kitchen can be used. No hot water shower but didn't really need one tbh.

I had a great stay at Coco Mango Hostel. Very clean rooms (stayed in the dorm) really lovely and welcoming hosts (& volunteers) and great location. It's possible to even use the kitchen, do laundry (600rp/kg) or just chill in the common area. Would definitely recommend that place if you're looking for a cozy and family like place to stay.

Coco Mango Hostel is a fantastic option in Hiriketiya Beach when it comes to budget accommodation. The German guy who runs the property is super friendly and the energy with other like minded travelers is amazing! Plus, good infrastructure and great location. I totally recommend this hostel!

Such a perfect vibe, super close to Hiriketya beach and Dickwella beach, with heaps of eating options both touristy but also a lot of proper local eateries on the main road. Run by very lovely people who are putting time and effort into creating a really welcoming vibe - also there are three puppies here at the moment!

My only suggestion would be to make some yoga mats available for people to make the most of the nice little garden out front :)

Cosy little hostel in a nice peaceful spot, a short walk to hiriketiya beach one way and some very reasonably priced local restraunts the other way to the main road through Dickwella (breakfast, rice and curry is half the price than Hiri!). Great place for backpackers! New hosts of the hostel were lovely, warm and welcoming people and of course the puppies are absolutley adorable.

Good Bed, good living, spacious kitchen, spacious outdoor space, cute coco and mongo (thats surprise). Met two friends whos runs business. I stayed 6 nights. Thats was wonderful.

The host was largely unavailable. The guy working there was so nice but did not speak English so difficult to get ahold of host for checkout and could not get change from host.

Nothing, perfect accommodation. Not right on beach but less likely to have a lot of noise for sleeping and wasn’t full.

Walking distance to both beaches and not far off main road for arriving and leaving with backpack. Each bed had a mosquito net and locker. Accommodation was very clean and even arrived to a coconut drink. Excellent value.

This is the best place to stay in Hiriketiya according to me. It's perfectly located, 5min walk to Hiri beach, 5 min walk to Dickwela beach. The house is new, very clean and well maintain. The owners are really kind and helpfull for any information you need. Matress are so comfortable.. that make the difference with other placer. There is a kitchen as well.. I think it's the best value arround. And the area is peacefull. It feels like home when I stay there, I went twice and extended many days each time. Thank you
