Aircon was really nice to have in the heat. Private bathroom. The owner gave us an extra sheet after we requested as the first one was quite small. Felt quite secure.

The pool was dirty, and the water was murky. Super disappointing as this was one of the places main draws when booking. Also pretty noisy by the pool. No cushions on the loungers. A little awkward coming back and walking through the owners living room while he's watching TV to get to the room. Toilet was also leaking a little from the base.

Terrible experience – do not stay here! Our stay was absolutely awful. The room was full of mosquitoes, extremely noisy from the street, and we found dirty sheets and even cockroaches. The water pressure in the shower was almost nonexistent, and the water was ice cold. On top of that, there was a horrible smell everywhere, and the toilet wouldn’t flush properly. The owner greeted us wearing only underwear, which was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. The electrical outlets didn’t match standard plugs for the country, the TV shown in the photos wasn’t even connected, and the pool looked so dirty we wouldn’t dare go near it. To make matters worse, the owner tried to charge us more than the price listed on Booking.com. We had booked two nights, but because of the terrible conditions we wanted to leave early. Although it’s his right to charge for both nights, he also demanded an even higher amount than advertised – and if we hadn’t double-checked, he would have overcharged us even more. This place is dishonest, dirty, and completely misrepresented online. Stay far away!

We spent almost a month at the Parallel villa and had a great holiday. There are various shops and cafes nearby, the beach is 10 min walk from the villa and you can go anywhere around the city on tuk tuk for an affordable price. The owner is very attentive and is always there to help. When we got tired of the local food, he let us use the grill in the garden and we had a barbecue by the pool. The swimming pool is clean, the garden has tables to have lunch, which is very convenient if you order a delivery. You can also get your laundry done right at the villa and we got room cleaning every time we needed it. Even when my girlfriend wanted something unusual, the owner helped her with all her needs. As for the breakfast, it was made fresh every morning: we had some eggs, fruit, sausages, toasts with jam and butter and hot drinks(tea, coffee, milk). And we got some small gifts too!

Affordable villa with a beautiful garden, a place to eat, clean swimming pool and very friendly owner. Breakfast is included, which is very convenient. We asked for laundry and room cleaning when we need it and everything was done perfectly. The territory has CCTV cameras and is totally safe. The swimming pool is cleaned every day. The owner gave us his grill to use and the BBQ was delicious. We could use the fridge and kitchen appliances all the time too. Villa is 10 minutes walk from the beach and we sometimes saw monkeys on our way there. The supermarket and the wine shop and various fruit shops are just by the corner. There are some nice cafes nearby too. On the balcony and at the pool I often saw palm squirrels and colorful birds.

We loved that the room was spacious. The house itself is amazing. The pool was a lovely bonus after a hot day in Trinco. The owner was friendly, respectful and accommodating.

Very spacious clean rooms, big pool with sun beds and quiet location - perfect to relax. Such a lovely host, very friendly, and always there to help with any extras that we needed. The beach was just a short walk away and there were a few restaurants within walking distance.

A clam place.

Toiletries were not provided. Only one or two car(s) can be parked. Never picked up the phone number given by the booking.com Therefore could not contact till reaching the place.

Good sized room and very clean. Our host was lovely and friendly and gave us a breakfast of coffee, toast, sausages and eggs. Lots of little shops and cafes around the location and about 10 mins walk to beautiful, deserted beaches.

The only improvement I can suggest is regarding the wifi. In the common lounge upstairs I got a very slight wifi signal but none in the room. We need wifi as we travel so we can book onward accommodation, so this was a little frustrating. Everything else was top notch and I recommend this place.

Room was clean, breakfast ok and the beds where comfy. If no one is there, call the second number on the sign.

The pool was not so clean. It was off season, so that could have been the problem.

When I went to their tribe, I did not see anyone there. If I contacted them on the phone, they did not answer the phone.

When I saw the girls were hot I knew that there was a possibility of prostitution in that place so I looked for one more hotel and went to the booking if you are coming see if it is good you see otherwise they will spoil your money and your belongings.

Aircon in communal room is a great idea. Makes hanging out as a large family easier and comfortable. The rooms were lovely and clean. The pool was great and had a cooling jacuzzi area. Very close to the beach which is a short walk away. The road down to it, you meet lovely Sri lankan families all happy to meet you. The people were lovely and very friendly. Keen to party with you, will bring loud music if you say yes to a party. It is close to a super market and a walk to local restaurants.There is a communal fridge for any food or drinks you want to keep cold. Just be wary others are staying there, maybe bag it seperate. We rented motorbikes which helped us get around easily. There were ten of us and were able to accommodate us all greatly.
