We stayed one night at this homestay and we had a very pleasant experience. It’s a family-run place that feels warm and welcoming from the moment you arrive. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist and offer useful tips for exploring the area. Breakfast is homemade and absolutely delicious. A great choice for anyone looking for an authentic and friendly stay. (The only down part is that it is a bit cold.) Highly recommended!

Staff were super friendly and welcoming, the room was gorgeous, lovely views, shower had good water pressure, bed was huge!

There was a late night party of some sort which kept us up, noise started at 11pm, and we had to be up early. Outdoor furniture was old and dirty.

Small family business in Nuwara Eliya. The guest house is comfortable and cozy, the rooms are big. They make amazing food that can be ordered for dinner and a good breakfast. The water of the shower was very hot which was nice because especially at night it is colder than other places in Sri Lanka, and there were lot of blankets for the night. But most of all, outstanding hospitality!! Would recommend.

We loved this place – it felt like a shared apartment with four rooms, and we could even choose which one we wanted. The food was great, and the recommendations we got were super helpful. The family running the place is incredibly friendly and always around if you need anything. It felt really welcoming and relaxed.

taxi driver was confused about the location. our window was facing the entrance so kept curtains closed and room dark

The hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was nice.

The room was very outdated. I booked the room with the extra bed, but the bed wasn’t made. Everything was very old in the room the bed sheets had holes in them and should be renewed. Even if they were clean, it didn’t feel and look clean. The curtain in the bathroom fell from the ceiling a few times.

Our room was amazing. You could see all off Nuwaraeliya through a whole wall of glass, the beds were huge and comfy and the bathroom was great. Akram and the rest of the hosts were lovely. They made us tea on arrival and when we left sorted a tuk tuk to take us to the station.

it was quite humid, but this isn't their fault - you're in the jungle! I also think all of the places in Nuwara Eliya will be like that

Great place up on the hill. A little tricky to drive up in a van but a pretty standard Sri Lankan road. The breakfast was a real stand-out. Delicious muffins and spicy roti's to get our sensors going. It is a very pleasant temperature in Nuwara Eliya and we didn't need air con, infact there was a fire in the main common room. We had the family room up the top which had fantastic views. Friends and family were below in a shared area with rooms off the main communal area. The power went off at the end of our stay but half of us managed to shower with hot water. The host is very responsive with great English.

Fantastic views and lovely staff! The breakfast was huge and great to try local food. They arranged transport from the train station and organised a fantastic tour to the tea factory and waterfall. Would 100% recommend!

It was perfect!

Great location, beautiful building, ideal for a group (like our four families). Dinner and breakfast were wonderful, and the dining room offers a great atmosphere with it's fireplace. The service was great.

The permanent humidity create it's own specific smell, bringing along the annoying mosquitos.

The stay was amazing , the host is very helpful and knowledgeable, breakfast was excellent and location is just amazing..

The location and friendliness of staff.

Breakfast was nice and Prince was really helpful with organising activities, we really enjoyed the Pekoe trail stage 22 hiking around the tea plantations, and the tea plantation and waterfall tour on our next morning too. The house was really clean and the staff were really friendly

Location is a bit remote but is easy to get around as the staff help organise Tuktuks, and Nuwara Eliya is very big.

Cool location with a lovely view. An excellent breakfast and the staff were very friendly. Perfect for a one night stay. It’s not too expensive but cleanliness could be improved a little having read the reviews. The downstairs section of the 4 person room was cosy and I’d imagine people have booked this room just for this main area. The loft area was pretty dusty and the pillows had some mould. The owners did give us new pillows when we pointed this out though.

Our stay in Pigeons nest was amazing! Prince was a great host who provided a great stay, with amazing views, lovely food and tea on arrival, and helped us to sort out our train journey to Ella.

Beautiful location with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are very modern and stylishly designed. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

No hot shower, and the cleanliness could be improved. There are areas in the apartment that clearly haven’t been properly cleaned in quite some time.

Chill place to stay in Nuwara Eliya, friendly staff, good breakfast and a nice view over the city. We got our own tuktuk so location was perfect but walking towards the city might be a bit far unless you like to hike.
