Our stay at the hotel was truly wonderful. The ocean view was absolutely breathtaking, and the location is just perfect. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially the room service team who made us feel so comfortable. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. Another highlight was that the hotel kindly allocated our room even before the official check-in time, which made our stay even more relaxed. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and relaxing experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay.

Great location! The views are gorgeous. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's a new hotel so some amenities such as a spa are not yet available. Breakfast was really good with a range of a la carte options.

Maintenance is clearly a problem and if they don’t change something in a few months this hotel will look very bad. Curtains already have halls, coaches are in stains.. Some facilities, e.g. spa are still not functional. Hotel doesn’t offer arrangements for activities in Galle and the area. Check in was quite chaotic and took more than an hour. Staff seems inexperienced and needs a lot of reminders

The spa was not available, so that was a little disappointing. Our room bathroom in the first floor was not well done. Didn’t have blinds in the shower, so it is very uncomfortable to share the room with a friend. The shower didn’t have any slab to put our toiletries.

The washroom was not clean (informed several times but did not come) Mobile adopter not available ( which is unexpected from a five star resort) . All the glasses were not clean which is very unexpected Check in time 3:00 pm (usually all hotel check in time 2:00 pm ) the washroom and other things glasses were not clean Provided room number is 201 but Tv screen is showing room no 213 how funny !

No hot water (runs out after 5 minutes in the shower), the bathtub is absolutely useless (purely decorative — you can’t even fill it 1/3 with warm water). A $30 breakfast — even in Dubai during peak season it’s hard to find something that overpriced. And it’s not like it’s anything special… the portions are for kittens. Breakfast ends at 11:00?! What nonsense is that?! This isn’t a business hotel. I went out for breakfast somewhere else three times. No decaf coffee!! If you sick?? High BP. There’s a young guy with a big beard, dressed all in white, some kind of surf-boy — no uniform — in the restaurant, extremely arrogant, talks to you like you’re trash. The internet is just ridiculous, the speed is useless. Hanging the router in the middle of the room so it blinks like a Christmas tree all night — not the best idea. The soundproofing between the two connected rooms is a nightmare. I can hear everything my neighbors are talking about, and they’re not even being loud. Feels like they’re right here in the room with me. Wish you to improve!

From the warm welcome to the thoughtful details throughout our stay, everything was perfectly curated. The room was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated. Foods are so delicious and on time! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile & went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. A special thank you to Ishara, Assistant Guest Relations Manager, whose attention to detail and genuine warmth elevated our entire experience. Trevor, the Duty Manager, went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met and made us feel truly valued as guests. And Anugi, Guest Relations Officer, greeted us with a smile every day and offered personalised recommendations that made our time in Galle even more memorable. The service throughout the hotel was consistently outstanding, with every staff member showing professionalism and hospitality that exceeded expectations. The room that was allocated to us initially had a lot of issues but they fixed it timely. It would be good to look for issues in the rooms before it’s allocated to guests to avoid discomfort.

All power outlets were for UK plugs. The staff helped us out by getting a converter multi plug.

I booked this hotel for a quick getaway with my wife for her birthday. The staff were really helpful, especially Trevor, Anugi and Ishara who made the stay special for us by upgrading our room to a suite and making special birthday arrangements for my wife (birthday cake with bed decorations). We tried both the restaurants and the food was great. The outdoor area was also exceptional with a beautiful pool which was right on the beach.
