Cleanliness definitely... the decorative pillows on the bed had very suspicious marks on them. The shower water makes it worth investing in a filter (it turned brown after the first shower).

The location is beautiful! Right in the fort with ocean view, easy to go for walks. The rooms are good size and comfortable. It's a good value. The staff was friendly.

Our washroom width was merely about 1 meter which made it hard to move around. We find it little expensive comparing the facilities provided.

The best thing about this property is its location- just adjacent to the rampart and bastion. You can enjoy the sea from your balcony and from the roof. The room has moderate furnitures and facilities. The AC worked well.

Great location for seaview sunset and people watching although you have to accept that you will also be a subject for all passers by to see you too from the ramparts. Great Sri Lankan breakfast. Asked what we would like so we were able to try different things.

The bathroom could do with an update

The location is amazing and the fact that you can watch the sunset from your room or the roof terrace is unique, the air con and wifi work You get exactly what you are paying for your money. The owners are charming and super helpful

Cleanliness wasn’t great. Smell as you enter probably from a drain. Access is vis a narrow staircase and would have been a problem if mobility was an issue. En-suite facility it a bit cramped and shower needs modernisation.

The hosts were so lovely and the location was unforgettable, I would recommend anyone to stay here, you can open your door and watch the peacocks and the ocean.

The accommodation is pretty sparse and needs/would benefit from an upgrade- more of a hostel standard at present. - mattress/ pillows/ bedding all seen a lot of use and need renewing - shower/bathroom needed an update or at least a good scrub to be clean. - lots of ants in the room .

The location was perfect Great sea / rampart/ sunset views. Conveniently located for all the sights within the Fort. Good breakfast on the balcony with views of the sea / rampart. The owner very kindly took us to the railway station at the end of our 2 day stay.

Great location but being so central can have its drawbacks as it was on one of the more important roads. Also the long weekend meant the fort was very busy which again contributed to the noise. But this is not their fault! A simple but clean room Happy with My stay

The property could use some updating and the sheets and towels were stained.

The location is great. The rooftop terrace is wonderful for sunset and people watching. The owner very kindly drove us to the train station at 6:30am.

We were okay with the place so nothing to comment here.

The place initially looked run down a bit. However many lodges inside the Galle Fort have similar view from outside. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The host is very accommodating and pleasant. We enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was really good and substantial.

Very basic room needs renovation.

Probably the best located hotel (guesthouse) in Galle right next to the Indian Ocean which you can see from the room s windows. The balcony where the breakfast is being served is fantastic. Even if it was very windy and rainy I sat there quite a lot time and enjoyed the view.

Room states a balcony which is present, but is communal and quite small. Roof top balcony has good views but nowhere/nothing to sit on.

Great location right by the sea. Very friendly and welcoming staff, Sri Lbreakfast was delicious. Room was a great size with air-conditioning, a fan and tea/coffee facilities. Just for info - It wasn't clear how to get in, they use a small metal door on the Rampart Street side, I would knock on this and wait for someone to open it.
