We liked everything.

The treehouse, which is the only one on the property, was very airy, with a comfortable bed and a deck to enjoy the banana garden view. Very good breakfast (and dinner if requested) was served at the table below the tree house. The bathroom with shower was adequate. The hosts Rana and his wife are very welcoming. Rana himself drove the jeep in the Minneriya National Park and also drove us to Anuradhapura at the end of our stay. His brother took us to Dambulla by tuktuk. Great quiet location from where you can easily walk to climb Pidurangala Rock. Very few moskitos, at least when we were there.

There were a lot of bugs in the room, but it’s to be expected when you’re staying practically in the jungle.

Rana was the best host! He picked me up from the bus station, took me to the small rock and climbed it with me for sunrise and then made me a huge breakfast! I mentioned also I needed an ATM and he offered straight away to take me there so I didn’t have to pay for a Tuktuk.

Rana Treehouse is a stunning place to stay, surrounded by lush greenery. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast while watching buffaloes and birds. Rana is a great host who even took us on a motorcycle tour around his town. We had a great time!

I stayed with Rana for three nights. The treehouse is surrounded by palmtrees and fields. Around the treehouse live cows, peacocks, waterbuffalos and so many more animals. I loved just watching them while having a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. The host Rana is very welcoming and you can see instantly that he is very passionate about his selfbuilt Treehouse. We went on Elefant Jeep Safari and climed Pidurangala Rock for Sunset. He also took me to a waterfall and to the lake (which had stunning views on the two rocks!!!) He drove me around for all three days and showed me around his village. I felt very welcome and it definitely was a great adventure! Highly recommend!!! (There was bad to no Wifi so download an audiobook or bring a book and enjoy some unplugged time in the jungle)

It can be hot in the night because there is no air conditioning.

We had a great stay at Rana Treehouse. It is a really nice experience. The owner is really nice and wants to make you feel good and comfy. He took us around his village and was great company. It is about 25 minute walk to Pidurangala Rock but he can also offer you a lift with his bike. The view from the treehouse is really nice, in the jungle. You hear a lot of bird sounds, which is really nice and relaxing. We stayed there for 2 nights. You get breakfast at his place and for dinner he can take you to a restaurants nearby. Highly recommended!!

There is really nothing to dislike about this Treehouse homestay.

Amazing experience. In the middle of nature's paradise between palm trees and banana trees, surrounded by different animals like different birds, squirrels and peacocks, is the Treehouse with a comfi bed and toilet and shower. It is a shame we had to leave, because we could stay here for two weeks more. The owner is a friendly, welcoming guy who serves an excellent breakfast with fresh coffee or tea and Sri Lankan foods like pancakes and different buns and cookies. Very tasty! The place is the perfect location for trips to the Pidurangala Rock (20 minute walk) and the Sigiriya Lion Rock. If you are interested in visiting the Pidurangala Rock for example, I highly recommend you book this place for at least 2 nights. You will not regret it.

The owner Rana is a super nice and helpful guy who even took us on a tour to Pidurangala in his free time. Breakfast is great, the Treehouse (which he built himself 😳) is very cute and cozy

Rana the owner and builder of the homestay is top notch. He is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and even a safari tour guide as well. The tree house has a huge deck pointed out towards the jungle and the wildlife, greenery, and sheet serenity is as peaceful as it gets. Cant give enough thanks. Wonderful time. And cant forget about the amazing breakfast and slam apple village tea.

Ideal place to be free with a beautiful environment. Dinner and breakfast with delicious food and drinks are very tasty. Although it is an elephant-friendly area, they can be easily seen by a high-rise area. I was able to spend my travel trip fun and beautiful. Thank you ; Ranjan (Rana Treehouse)

Rana and his wife went out of their way to help us, including an early morning drop off to walk Piduragala Rock. The food was excellent - Rana prepared an excellent dinner for us after our late arrival and the breakfast was delicious. A peaceful spot.
