The music from a neighbouring hotel kept me awake untill 2am one of the nights. I know this isnt a reflection on Sajana hotel but it did affect my stay slightly.

Loved the family running the place, drink on arrival, room was lovely and big, and balcony facing the ocean.

The best location. The quiet end of the beach and easy to walk into town.. The rooms are well equipped with fridge and kettles and good air-conditioning.. We liked it so much we booked in again when back in the area. The owners are really helpful too and can arrange tuktuks or bike hire. Really rate it as a home away from home!

The AC didn’t work so well overnight and we would often be a bit hot. The fan helped a lot though.

Really lovely location on the beach with a relaxing hammock out front. Good fan to combat the heat. Nice big bed, clean room and mini fridge. We stayed during Tamil new year and the host family very kindly gave us some celebratory sweets

Sajana Ocean Hill - is located metres from Mirissa Beach. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and well appointed. The wifi is great and being a family run business ensures each guest is welcomed and provided that little extra personal touch to make sure you have a memorable stay.

At night, you can hear music from the beach bars nearby. It’s not a big deal, but I’d suggest keeping it in mind if you like to go to bed early or are a light sleeper.

The room was very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The location is great — just a short walk to the beach, and not far from the port where you can catch a whale watching tour. It’s also close to the center of Mirissa, with shops, cafés, and restaurants nearby. The room had a fridge, which was really helpful, and the hammock on the balcony was a lovely surprise. The host was incredibly kind and gave great advice on local fruits. We had a fantastic stay.

Sajana Ocean hill is located at the quieter end of Marissa beach. We were in the newer corner room and even had a beach view. Everything worked, including a good shower. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in the last three weeks. All the staff were cheerful.

Top location, just few steps from the beach but in the corner of the lagoon so not close to the top busy and noisy day and night life at the beach hotels and bars. We had the possibility to choose our room because we arrived early. We took the one on the top of the family house. It was also very safer in that way. The family that runs the place is amazing. Trying to help and inform you on all things we have asked.We had an amazing terrace breakfast every morning. We asked for home made Sri Lankan. The father is cooking and his dhal curry was the best we had. We were served fresh juices, home made string hoopers from red rice, classic hoopers, egg hoppers,sambol, fruit… room was clean and big, as well the bathroom with hot shower, nice bed with clean sheets. They are animal lovers, having their Shih Tzu in the house and few aquariums. Air condition was clean and working perfectly. Also the huge ventilator on the top. WiFi was good.

Unfortunately there is a party happening on the beach nearly every night of the week these days. The noise isn’t too terrible but light sleepers might want to have earplugs ready.

This place was such a nice surprise. While the decor might take some getting used to (top marks for originality on the bathroom tiles), the room was filled with light, the bed large and comfortable and the aircon working perfectly. We had our only little upstairs terrace, and that’s where the copious breakfast was served as well. It all felt very comfy and the owners were super friendly. The place lies just to one end of Mirissa Beach. The beach is accessible within a few minutes by foot.

we supposed to have a "sea front" room, but they built a new building in front of the entire hotel, so I believe this should be communicated priorly and/or price should be adjusted based on that...

Perfect location, literally 2 min away from one of the best beach where to be in Mirissa, with restaurants and bars. Family host is great, always very helpful and kind in communication. Great fresh cooked breakfast. Wifi was excellent too (first time in the entire Sri Lanka)

As there are several beach bars in this area it can become a little loud during night time. But after a long day at the beach that was no big issue actually. Nevertheless make sure to bring earplugs just to be save.

The place is just around the corner from the beach. It has everything you need. A comfortable bed and the breakfast was also very delicious. It included some slices of toast, fruit, pancakes and omlette. All You need for a great start into your day.
