No complains at all.

Excellent breakfast. Had both Sri Lankan and Continental options. We ate all of our meals there and everything was prepared very well. Especially the Sri Lankan food. The pool and the whole atmosphere of the place and the surrounding land was amazing. So much life. The staff were exceptional. The owner Charith is a great host. They even provide transport and access to a nearby beach.

- Restaurant was pricey, but it showes that they aim to high quality

- It was the most modern and beautiful place we stayed at during our travel in Sri Lanka - We had a small issue: they forgot our reservation, but we only had to wait 10 minutes to get in, and they immidiately companseted us with upgrating our room and giving us a welcome drink. They also arranged our dinner quickly - Amazing cuisine with a great chef! -Really cool pool -Hosts were there for us for anything we needed

A wonderful place to stay. Calm and serene. Was lots better than the photo’s make it look. Loved waking up in the jungle with the full height glass windows. Really nice pool. The staff were super helpful and attentive and gave us lots of tips including visiting a local turtle sanctuary. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay. The rooms are nice and spacious. Everything was very clean and felt luxurious. The staff was great and showed us around in their big garden. It has jungle vibes and is very nice tranquil. The pool is nice too. The food is also very good breakfast as well as their menu for dining. A disadvantage could be that it is somewhat further away from other restaurants or activities. We had our own transport so it was no issue for us. The hotel can arrange transport. It's something to take into consideration.

The service is great, the staff were are trying to make our stay as good as possible they were so helpful and kind, the restaurant makes great food (we tried grilled chicken and pasta) and the breakfast was very nice! We really enjoyed the view from the room with the huge glass windows you are in contact with the nature around you, yet u still enjoy room amenities

We had a great time at Sakuna Resort. Our group had six people. The staff welcomed us warmly. It was worth the price. The manager was very friendly, like a friend. We had a nice talk with him. The food was delicious. We enjoyed a BBQ night. The pool made the place even better. The location was perfect, surrounded by nature.

We booked a hotel on Booking.com for $8. To our surprise, upon check-in, it turned out there was a system error, and the actual price was $70. We tried to explain the situation, but seeing how tired we were after a long journey, the owner offered us a free stay. We arrived late at night, and not only were we accommodated, but we were also treated to a delicious dinner. A lovely breakfast awaited us in the morning.The hotel exceeded all expectations. W e got a spacious and clean room, a huge bathroom, free Wi-Fi, and access to a magnificent swimming pool. The owner was incredibly hospitable and kind.Although we were offered to leave without paying anything, we left $8 – the amount we initially saw on Booking.com. We will definitely return to this hotel again, but this time at the proper price, to fairly compensate for the hospitality and quality of service we received.

I had an absolutely delightful stay at Sakuna Arana Resort. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff who made every effort to ensure my comfort throughout my stay. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and absolutly clean, offering a perfect blend of luxury and tranquility. The lush garden and surroundings created a peaceful atmosphere, making it the ideal place to relax. One of the highlights was the delicious food served at the resort. The meals were freshly prepared with a variety of local dishes. The location is also excellent, only 2km distance from the beautiful Kosgoda beach and the famous turtle conservation project. The resort staff were happy to help organize excursions and provide tips for exploring the area. The pool was clean and inviting, perfect for a refreshing swim after a day of sightseeing. I recommend Sakuna Arana Resort to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with a top service. I will definitely return on my next visit to Sri Lanka.

Called the property before I arrived, asked them to send me some photos of the rooms, the man who spoke to me told me he will send me the photos in 15mins, hours went by no photos and I called the property about 15times no one answered the phone! Terrible!!! I didn't want to risk coming to a property that didn't respond to my calls or that out of reach!

wonderful place! we arrived to the resort lately and we couldn't see the environment clearly! next day in the morning we were walking the pool side and garden. what a wonderful nature ! so green and rich with lot of trees and birds! The breakfast was super good and we enjoyed much. Also has larger swimming pool.. Really amazing stay! staff was really friendly.They treated us so well. Definitely want to comeback!
