It's a wonderful place to stay with your family or couple we stayed one night it's a one of best staying we had special thanks to the owner and his wife they make our stay more comfortable places is very clean and food was very good and homemade and this place is definitely worth the money you spend highly recommended and looking forward to stay at this wonderful place again

We stayed there for 2 nights. The accomodiation and the staff were really great. The host was really nice and helpful and always eager to give us tips about our journeys. If i went to Anuradhapura i would seek this accomodation again.

I had a wonderful stay at Sandakada Homestay in Anuradhapura. The room was very comfortable and well-kept, making it a relaxing place to unwind. The hosts, who are the owners of the property, were extremely kind and welcoming, and they even kindly helped us a lot in making the poojawa, which we truly appreciated. One of the highlights of the stay was the food, the delicious homemade meals gave us a real taste of Sri Lankan hospitality. The garden is also beautiful and adds a peaceful atmosphere to the homestay. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I would happily recommend Sandakada Homestay to anyone visiting Anuradhapura.

This is without a doubt the best place we stayed in our time in Sri Lanka. It is a beautiful property that is well maintained and has comfy rooms with everything you need. The family that run the honestly couldn’t be more helpful, from making us breakfast before our safari to giving us a lift late at night to Sigiriya. I really recommend you stay here.

If you like local vibe with many interesting details perfectly paired in this warm home, we highly recommend choosing Sandakada Homestay. We stayed only for one night and I am sorry we didn't have more time to enjoy beautiful garden and nice energy of this place. Our host helped us arrange our visits around the city and also offered transportation to our next destination at reasonable price.

Mr Ajith and Mrs Renu were so friendly and went out of their way to make out stay delightful. In fact, they went above and beyond. And the garden and terrace is beautiful Such lovely people.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. When we arrived we got a cold towel and some refreshment. They helped us with our request and we could also have dinner there. We wanted a taxi to the Wilpattu Park for the next day and they arranged it for us. They also helped us finding a guide for a city tour. We really enjoyed our stay thanks to them!

During my recent trip to Anuradhapura, I was lucky enough to stay at Sandakada Homestay which is located in the heart of the ancient city. The location was incredible and the accommodation was peaceful and relaxing. I felt welcomed and well looked after. The room was spacious and airy and cool due to the excellent air conditioning. I slept well as the bed was comfortable and the surroundings were peaceful. Great bathroom with a good shower plenty of hot water and immaculately clean. One of the best parts of my stay was the food. The homestay provided personalized dining opposed to one menu. I had an incredible traditional curry, it was absolutely delicious, this is a must stay for food lovers. The hospitality at Sandakada Homestay was exceptional. All the staff were welcoming and polite, I felt safe and looked after. Me of my favourite features was the gardens surrounding the home stay, they were beautiful kept and like a little bit of paradise. I highly recommend Sandakada Homestay is a wonderful choice for anyone visiting Anuradhapura. I wish I had been able to stay longer and will return when I visit again.
