In a few areas it could have done with touch ups with painting / repairs.

It was quiet and the perfect place to relax - it was away from the main town which is what we were after but also had a few options close by to eat in the evenings. Pool was accessible, clean, and had a great view of the ocean/beach. The staff were helpful and kind. We enjoyed our stay.

The property appears to be tired. The TV stopped working, with a sign on the screen saying account overdue please pay. Pool umbrellas were too small & in poor condition.

The staff are excellent, very friendly & helpful. The pool is very good. Quiet location.

This could be such a nice hotel, but the upkeep of facilities is very obviously not being invested in. Most of the sun loungers are broken, some of the cushions torn. The sun shades are also very small so don't really give much shade, the furniture everywhere needs updating and replacing. Once you get over this it's a very nice place. The staff make up for all of this, they couldn't be more helpful and work extremely hard.

The location on Narigama beach is superb, fantastic beach and in a quiet area but only a tuk tuk ride away from lots of restaurants and shops. Nice pool and breakfast was also good. The staff are keeping this place afloat and work extremely hard and are very helpful.

Room was big and nice. But overall there is big problem with damp. Mattress and pillows was very old and full of black moisture dots. And other big stains. And when you walk in your room you smell dump. (Yes, we stayed there still 3 nights. We only sleep in that room and all exrta time we spend elsewhere.) If you wanted your towels, wet clothes to dry, you must put them outside of the room. Balcony was big and lovely but with very old furnitures. Also lot of ants wondering around. Toilet was big. Shower has good water pressure but you can't decide if it is hot or cold water. Because it changed all the time even you put water to cold. There is A/C in room. But it works sometimes very well and sometimes not. There is small fridge in your room, but it wasn't cleaniest one. Breakfast was ok. Like you get your basics but dont expect too much. But don't buy it if you don't have it in your roomprice already. Its not worth that money. If you pay with card they add 3% to that check.. Afterall its a little bit shame. Those rooms needs to repair and take care. Change mattresses and pillows atleast to fresh ones. There is facilities to be much better hotel than this but i think they don't want to use money and interest to refresh that place up. So from our opinion its not worth that money. Get your money to elsewhere.

Location was excellent if you love peace. Yes, it is little bit far away from main area and mainbeach. But you can reach there with tuktuk in 5-10minutes. There are still nice restaurants near by. (Thusis, Two Brothers.) Pool was big and clean. Enough lovely sunbeds to everyone. Outside area was worth of the money. Staff was excellent and very helpful. They clean your room and change your towels if you ask them to.

Wi-Fi was shocking!

Really nice comfortable hotel. Huge bedroom, although not the ground floor corner room I had booked. Staff all really helpful. Organised our taxi back to the airport for USD70 which for a two hour trip was good value. Nice sunbeds overlooking the waves. Always quiet there but only 25 minute beach walk to all the restaurants etc. supermarket 2 mins away.

There's no soap in the bathroom, only shower gel in shower. Considering the price they are charging, it should be included. In general, nothing bad, just price-performance ratio could be higher, probably partially due to location on the beachfront the price is inflated.

Good location on the beachfront, approx 4km (45min) beach-walk away from Hikkaduwa main beach. Hotel beach is good, there's no need to go to hikkaduwa, other than missing cocktails and snacks from beach bars and sunbeds on the beach. It's very quiet, some good restaurants close by, so you have enough options to go for a dinner or take tuk-tuk for few hundreds LKR and you are in Hikkaduwa.

Staff weren’t the most professional. They tried to charge us 3% extra for using our card to pay which was not mentioned on the booking.

The hotel is very old, needs renovation. It’s very hard to take off the key from the door. Breakfast is nothing special- you have option for Sri Lanka breakfast or Western breakfast (eggs and sausage, jam, fruit OR fruit juice and coffee). Last day we didn’t have time to eat breakfast so we took lunch box. It was just one sandwich with cheese- so disappointing for breakfast that cost 10$ per person. Hotel is too far from city center, around 3-4km. Nothing around hotel. In this part of the beach is also big waves

The restaurant needs a little upgrade. We tried lunch one day (“burger”) and it wasn’t great, there are much better restaurants further along for a cheaper price. Even though we were upgraded the hotel needs a little refurb in places (the bath in the suite wasn’t even connected to the floor properly and when It rained the water came through into the bathroom) There was also a massive pigeon problem on our balcony, where they were nesting in the roof (I know this cannot be helped)

Beautiful beachfront hotel, lovely views and a beautiful pool. The staff were all so lovely and upgraded our room because there was a local party on, which we were really grateful for and it was a very considerate gesture! Breakfast was also great and not far from the turtle beach.

Pool area furniture, particularly the sun beds and umbrellas, in need of upgrade and repair but recognise that Covid has severely impacted hotel revenue for ongoing maintenance costs. Could do with additional sun umbrellas and bigger ones as not much shade from the heat. The hotel is at the end of Hikkaduwa and has limited bars and restaurants, though it's a short tuk-tuk ride to the busier area. Credit card payments have a surcharge.

Very pleasant beachfront hotel in the quieter area of town. We had a first floor front corner room, which was huge, with a wrap around balcony. The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast choice was good and the fruit plate was excellent. Even had a special "local" breakfast one day which gave us the opportunity to try new foods. Lovely pool. Buses to Galle and Hikkaduwa town are frequent and cheap and the bus-stop is very close to the the hotel. Would stay here again if in the Hikkaduwa area.
