The shower head really needs to be renewed!

Shehan and his wife were wonderfully helpful. I truly appreciated their kindness. Breakast was varied, plentiful and delicious. The bed was comfortable, the room big and quiet. Plenty of storage space.

I would stay here again for the breakfast alone, wow! After staying in Sri Lanka for three weeks I can say this was our best breakfast we have had. Besides this, the family running it is super friendly and helpful, giving us a lot of tips and recommendations. The room was spacious and clean.

The pressure of the shower is low. It would be great to put some Shampoo in there as well but this is not Sri Lankan standard as far as I experienced. Would be a nice add on though. And the corners of the ceiling in the bathroom should be cleaned since there are some tiny spider webs.

Owners are absolutely lovely and make you feel very comfortable. They are flexible when it comes to adjusting to your wishes and help you with any information you need. The breakfast is very good and nice to try local dishes as well. The whole place has a very nice vibe, I'd definitely stay there again :)

The only downside was that the mosquito net had several small holes, which could be improved for a more comfortable night’s sleep. Overall, it was a Great experience would highly recommend staying here!l

Family run business, owners are doing everything for making your stay as mach confortabile they can. Room clean and comfy, enough hot water to get a good long shower, good dinner and breakfast: the cook is just amazing!

Nothing. Everything was more than perfect

The room is big and SUPER clean. The bed is very comfortable. The patio is beautiful and full of plants. The breakfast (you can add it) is the best breakfast I have ever had in my entire life!!! The accommodation is managed by the lovely family. Mr. Shehan and Mrs. Sri were always willing to help, they are adorable. They also helped me to arrange a tuk tuk to the old city, which I highly recommend because he gave me a lot of information, Nishanta is his name. I would definitely come back a thousand times… thank you for everything ♥️

All was great

We really enjoyed our stay at Saubagya Inn. Our host Shehan and his family are lovely. Shehan is an honest and kind man. He provided us with information about the local area, activities and tours. He has a few bikes for hire if you prefer to cycle the old city of Anuradhapura. Shehan also organised a driver to meet us at the airport. The breakfasts were great, generous and delicious. I especially enjoyed the fresh mango from the tree in his garden. The room was comfy, with A/C and hot shower. Would certainly stay again when back in Anuradhapura.

Bedroom is very comfy, super bathroom with a lot of water pression They welcomed us with a tea and homemade biscuits ! Great value for money. Rooms were clean and comfortable beds. The family running the hostel were lovely and very helpful. Greeted us with a welcome cup of tea on arrival and organised a tuk tuk tour to see the ancient city. Would definitely recommend staying here!

- Adorable, thoughtful and highly welcoming owners doing their best to help with anything you may need. They arranged a tuk-tuk drive so I could visit the city and my guide really was the best too, then they arranged a taxi drive to Trincomalee at a great price with a very sympathetic and knowledgeable driver as well. - Great location and good recommendations/directions by Shehan (the owner) for places to have food/a juice by a beautiful lake, for example. - Spent some time with Shehan's wife and their son and really felt at home with them. They offered me some tea and we had some nice conversations. - Good bedroom and even could use an adaptor and mosquito repellent put at the customers' disposal in it.
