I loved everything

We couldn't believe our luck booking this hotel. After a month of travelling it felt like luxury but incredibly reasonably priced. The rooms are spacious and modern but with beautiful antique touches. Super comfortable large bed, and bathroom comes with lovely shampoo, conditioner and bodywash, a first on my travels. Rooftop bar for watching the sunset and overlooks a park where locals fly kites and play cricket, very entertaining. I cannot recommend this place more highly, my favorite in all my travels and I hope u can return. Thank you so much!!!

Very friendly staff, good clean room and value for money. The location inside the fort overlooking a green and the ocean is excellent. Sitting in the roof top area watching mostly children fly their kites before dusk was almost magical. Nice breeze in the afternoon on this side a Galle which makes for comfort. Good breakfast and dinner options. Plenty of good eating options close by. In house tuk tuk and driver hire options

This was honestly the best hotel we stayed at in Sri Lanka, the room was perfect- bed was so comfortable, nice blankets and pillows, great AC, and really nice modern shower. Every little detail was thought of and taken care of! The hosts were also fantastic, helping us out with recommendations around town. This is the place to stay in Galle, amazing location right near the water and in the old historical fort - there are tons of restaurants and shops around. Plus you can watch sunset right from the rooftop lounge! 10/10 Hope to come back and stay here again soon!

Nice room with AC and a fan, kinda hard bed tho. Location is perfect for visiting the fort area. Rooftop terrace has a great view over the ocean. Not far from the train station.

This was our favourite stay in Sri Lanka. The location is fantastic, shops restaurants very close walking distance. The view from the roof top whilst drinking tea during sunsets is unmissable. We will be recommending to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. The owner of the hotel even arranged onwards travel plans for us.

You need earplugs for weekdays as the school nextdoor is extremely loud. The hotel provides them for you at the reception, it would be helpful to refer to this while check in. Cool water in the shower at some times during the day is fine, but an info for that would be nice, too.

Very central located in Galle Fort. You can reach everything nearby by foot and even hear the sea from your room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room is as seen on the pictures, well equipped and comfy. I definitely recommend this place.

Perfect location with a beautiful sunset terrace. The room was spotless, and the hotel staff were extremely friendly. A free breakfast in the morning would have been a nice bonus.

The location was perfect, inside the fort with everything on walkable distance but not in the noisy streets. Also the staff was very helpful and friendly!

We would have preferred if there was a small sit-out area on the terrace, at least for guests to relax and chat until late at night—perhaps until around midnight, especially since the breeze was lovely. We noticed that the door to the terrace was closed around 10:30 p.m. and remained closed until 11 a.m. the next day (when we were leaving). It may have been to minimize heat or sunlight, but when traveling with friends, we enjoy having a space outside the room to sit and talk. We were using the first-floor sitting area, but we realized there was a bedroom nearby, and we didn’t want to disturb the guests staying there. The upstairs terrace would be ideal for this purpose, as long as guests have access to it.

There's a school next door that blasts music in the mornings. The hotel provides ear plugs and that solves the problem. The shower water pressure could be better.

I've stayed at three properties in Galle and the Seagreen Guest House was by far the best. The room was clean and fresh with plenty of room to move around, do yoga, or whatever. There's a nice rooftop terrace too, that looks out onto the sea and sunset. Very friendly staff.

Good location in the fort itself for a very good price. Spacious room with a huge bed and comfortable mattress. The bathroom was massive and good water pressure. Solar heated water but the staff can heat it more electrically if required. They were amenable to all requests from us. Would definitely recommend this place to prospective guests.
