Prianti, the pearl of the Secret Swell, is a lovely, authentic woman who you simply love. She prepared the best breakfast for us every morning and always kept everything clean. Thank you for letting us get to know Prianti and the Secret Swell. We love it.

Bianti was so friendly and the rooms are gorgeous. Right on a beautiful, private beach. She made us an amazing breakfast and did our laundry for us.

Everything was beautiful

Had such a great experience here. You can hear the ocean from your comfy bed. The room is spaceous and superclean. Breakfast every morning is a treat and hosts are lovely!

Clean and lovely bungalows with direct access to the beach. We had delicious freshly prepared breakfast by Nadee's mother. The whole place was awesome 💯💯 highly recommend 👍👍

Incredible location on a secluded beach. Looked after well by kind and friendly hosts. Had a great surfing lesson arranged by Nadee and also hired paddle boards from him. Fantastic breakfasts which varied every day and were delicious. Big room, comfy bed, very clean. Definitely recommend!

Maybe the other rooms are different… for this price here in Sri Lanka we expect it a bit different, but still fair.

We loved the staff, their kindness and approachability. We have had most wonderful time herę, breakfast was delicious and the location was great too! Highly recommending!

The beach. The local bars. Very good location 30 metres from the sea. The bay is good for swimming. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed.

Showers are poor, we had no hot water. Bathroom adequate but basic. If it wasn't for the excellent beach it would be expensive for what is there. The bedroom is quite dark.

Location incredible. Room spacious , everything we needed ( little fridge white cold water & a small place for yours things ) . No AC but 2 fan. We didn’t used them , just let the window & door open , and let the little fresh night wind come in. The breakfast was good , not too much not too little , and I think you can ask for more or less ( the mother is helpful) . We where in the room upstairs, & from the balcony where you can chill on the couch & take your breakfast, you see the beach . Super calming place. The others rooms also have a little terrasse with table&/or couch .

Had a great time in secret swell! Easy to go to the beach for surfing or swimming. Nice view from the terrace

Really lovely little spot right on the beach. The room was very comfortable, with an effective mosquito net, aircon, a fridge, and comfy chairs to sit at in a little private garden area per room. The hosts were very kind, and the breakfasts every morning were delicious. We rented surfboards from Nadee in the mornings which was so convenient. And there were a few local restaurants and little beach bars within walking distance as well. The beach was also quiet and great for surfing, a lovely little area. Would definitely recommend.

There is a lot of rubbish around the shack in front, and I probably wouldn't describe either of the downstairs rooms as having a sea view (even though they're only 10m from the beach there's a shack in front and our room was tucked back). We also unfortunately got given a portion of our clothes wet when our laundry was returned (as we were leaving - we'd given over laundry previous morning) that didn't smell great they apologized but still charged us full price for laundry.

The lady who runs the place is absolutely lovely!

The location is perfect and Piayanthi and Naid are great hosts: Piayanthi lives on the location and is a very kind and helpful person who serves a delicious breakfast with pride. Her son, Nadi, is a surf instructor with great tips and boards to rent. The upstairs room has a good view of the main surf break.

We are so happy to find this hidden gem. The accommodation is just a few steps away from a wonderful beach where you can swim and surf. The highlight is the wonderful family - we felt straight away like home. Especially the mum is the heart of this place. You can hear the ocean while you are lying in bed and can connect with the kindest locals. As I got sick they where so incredible kind to help me with medicine, tea and herbs. Thank you so much for your hospitality. ❤️

You couldn’t be closer to a beautiful little beach, with a small quiet restaurant nearby that makes amazing food. This place is away from the crowds and a slice of heaven. You are a 5-10 minute walk away from Silent Beach which is easily on the most stunning beaches I’ve ever seen with an incredible couple little restaurants on it. I was blown away by this beach and spent my days here. I also rented a scooter for 2500r and made my way along the surrounding coast, and up to the incredible Mulgirigala Rock Temple - which is a MUST see. Overall a great experience.

I think it depends on the room you get. If you are upstairs you will get a breeze and a view. The bottom rooms are newer I think and probably need a bit of work. The mosquitoes can get pretty gnarly. And the smell of fresh cement is evident. Still, comfortable enough and well priced. The mother is a very sweet lady who brings an amazing breakfast each morning. She is a wonderful person that will make your day. Something that let my experience down is the bar next door which apparently has become a hangout for the local young guns who are not afraid to throw a party. Generally the area is very peaceful, but one night (presumably because of Christmas celebrations) the music pounded away until 1am - some mega techno was reverberating across the entire bay. It could not have been louder 🙈 That said, I doubt this happens often and shouldn’t stop you from booking. Just make sure to ask for a room in the top floor, and avoid a public holiday if you’re wanting to avoid heavy music.

Unfortunately there is quite a lot of plastic and rubbish infront of the house and on the beach :( a real bummer that there is know collection system. It would improve the area and environment a lot 🫶
