The hosts are excellent cooks and very friendly. They gave us great recommendations for trips in the area. The rooms were clean, and mosquito nets were available, though we didn’t need them. Every day, we enjoyed watching monkeys outside at the same time—they weren’t a nuisance, just fun to observe.

The host Chathuri was just absolutely amazing, the hostess with the mostest. Chathuri organised all our transport in and around Dambulla and also onto Kandy. Nothing was too much of an ask for her and it was all done e with the best smile ever! The room can be improved with little things like maybe a mosi net (we were eaten alive in the night) and side lamps so not to be blinded by the main light when waking up. This is a stay that is not about the room but about Chathuri. The location of the Inn is also spot on.

Little room Improvements and little improvements to the bathroom.

Very good accommodation in an ideal location with an amazing price-performance ratio. The rooms were very clean and Wi-Fi was also available. The owners of the accommodation deserve special mention! The hostess was extremely friendly and helpful. She organized a trip to Sigiriya & Pidurangala Rock for us, cooked with us and helped us stopping the bus when we left. We would definitely come back again!

The family are very friendly and helpful and kind. The WiFi wouldn't connect so the lady brought the router right into my room so I could call home! She also brought me an unexpected treat - delicious homemade popcorn was a lovely surprise while I was stuck due to presidential election curfew, that was so sweet and thoughtful. The bed is comfy and the AC is great. Breakfast was also nice, simple and tasty.

The roof of the room is not soundproof so you WILL be woken up at 6am... The monkeys are nice to watch in the garden, but if you're tired then the very loud banging at sunrise won't help. The bathroom is functional but the mirror and fittings all need a good clean.

very friendly family. Helped a lot with a driver for the next destination. The rooms were very clean and the terassa would be very nice but we had 38 °C so it was too hot outside and in the evening there were many moskitos as it is normal in the area. The air con was fantastic and very quiet. The price was absolute ok.

there is not much space to store your things. Breakfast was ok but not much choice. Of course there are only two appartments for rent. There is only one electronic plug in the room. We cancelled the second night as Dambulla is not a very nice city for tourists.

Wow!! Chanthuri and Shan are the most welcoming, joyful and hospitable family. No request was ever too much trouble. We were made to feel like part of the family. So we extended our stay. Our children (15,12 & 7) did not want to leave… a home from home. The room was spotless and cleaned with linen change after 2 days. Comfortable bed, air con great, mosquito nets provided, instant hot water, wifi, walking distance to Cave Temples and a short tuk tuk ride to town (300rupees). Little store next door is convenient for snacks. Great little restaurant (Attilah) down the street for evening meal. They helped arrange day trip out to Sigirya, traditional village and Hurlulu Eco Park. The guy they recommended (Hasintha) was an absolute legend and waa very flexible. Some may consist a minus but we found incredibly entertaining the multiple troops of monkeys that make their way through this place during the day. We did not fill bothered by them at all… just don’t leave your food or rubbish lying about. By far the BEST place we have stayed in Sri Lanka.

A great host. We had a wonderful and different breakfast on both days of our stay. And they couldn't have been more helpful.

The monkeys on the roof on one of the mornings woke us up. But that was a bit of fun!

Location is great for Cave Temple Owners are lovely people and very helpful

Unfortunately cleanliness was non existent. Everything was dirty and needs some serious updating and cleaning. Hygiene wasn’t good either These things can be overcome hopefully, as the people are lovely and the property and grounds have potential

There is nothing to significantly to highlight positive other than staff being friendly.

Access to the room was very difficulty and the room was not clean. The stay was not comfortable due to multiple reasons. Too much of mosquitoes and irritating smell. Toilet commode was shaky and not permanently fixed. Breakfast was provided but the place was not hygienic with no options for breakfast and getting dinner was also a challenge at hotel. There is good scope of improvement to provide better facilities and make stay comfortable. This is not recommended for family stay if it does not get improved.
