This accommodation was the best on our trip so far! We stayed in a tree house surrounded by greenery. From there you can see colourful birds, squirrels and sleep in very comfortable beds. It is beautifully furnished, simple and functional. Everything is very clean and there are mosquito nets. We had the best breakfast and dinner in Sri Lanka, Presadi is a fantastic cook. She also showed us how to make coconut sambol. She and her husband Rohan were incredibly helpful, always organised a driver for us and advised us on excursions. Rohan took us on the best safari we could have wished for. He is an elephant expert and a very considerate and sensitive guide with an ecological awareness. The children played together. We would have loved to stay longer. We have taken you and your children very much to our hearts, dear Rohan and dear Presadi! Thank you so much for the unforgettable days! One day we will come back! We liked everything

Sigiriya Free View Villa was simply wonderful. The hosts Rohan & Prasadi were very welcoming and communication was excellent. Rohan speaks very good English. The Villa had comfortable beds and a lovely terrace. Rohan has an amazing knowledge of Elephants and does Safari's whilst Prasadi runs cooking classes. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

It's a little bit further from the centre of sigiriya than some other places. 15 minute walk to the main crossing at Lion Rock.

Very friendly host family! Room was good, clean, comfy beds, good aircon. The host offers various things and Rohan does the safari himself. He's done the safari for many years, knows how to avoid the crowds, how to deal with the elephants to make the most out of the safari while being respectful to the animals. Rohan's wife made us delicious dinner and breakfast. Overall very good!

What a beautiful location and a beautiful family. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend to anyone thinking about it. Rohan and his family did everything to make our stay as comfortable and easy as possible. He knows everything about elephants and respect them, also makes all that’s necessary to make your stay unique and superb. His wife’s food it’s the best we had so far in our trip. Everything was great.

We stayed in the small house in the back, it’s away from the road and very quiet. In the morning you’re waking up with the sound of birds, feels like the middle of the jungle. The room was sparkling clean, the bathroom has a window so there is no humidity or smell problem. It was walking distance to most restaurants and to the Lion’s rock (about 30min). The hosts go out of their way to accommodate you, woke up 4am to take us to climb Pidurangala for sunrise. We also did the elephant safari with them and it was a really magical experience, would definitely recommend!

No hot water from the shower and the bathroom smelt quite musty but given that the accomodation was in a jungle setting I’m sure that was standard really.

The owners were so welcoming and friendly. My friend had caught a stomach bug before he arrived and felt really ill . They were genuinely concerned and did everything they could to help. They also organised an elephant safari for us which was amazing!

Excellent 3 night stay. Very comfortable accommodation, great dinner and breakfasts. Close to all the restaurants and attractions. The most loveliest family hosts. We took their safari and was blown away with the amount of elephants seen, so close. Rowan was very knowledgeable and respectful of the animals.

The room was clean, spacious and had all the basic necessities. Shower was warm and the air con was efficient. Beds were really comfy too! We were greeted with fresh pineapple juice on arrival which was a lovely touch. The included breakfasts were tasty, local Sri Lankan dishes and made fresh for when required. The location was perfect - a quiet area for getting sleep but only a 10minute walk to the main area with restaurants and bars (there are some even closer literally one minute away if you don’t want to walk to the busier area). The family who run this business are lovely, Rohan drove us to Lion rock and we booked our safari through them. Rohan gave us lots of recommendations about what we could do without being pushy to book anything. Nothing was too much trouble for him to organise. The elephant safari was a fantastic experience, Rohan was a safari tour guide before having the hotel so he is very knowledgable and we always felt that the elephants welfare was a priority. We would recommend the safari with Rohan to anyone thinking of making this trip. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Near to bars and restaurants. Clean and nice area to sit out and enjoy the peace and quiet. The staff went above and beyond. Rohan ran us to Lion’s rock and into town when it was pouring down. He also took on safari and made sure we saw lots of elephants taking us away from the other jeeps. Fridge and mini bar handy.

Awesome stay in Sigiriya. Very child friendly, our little son loved to play with their kids. He is really helpful and did an Elefantsafari with us. One of the best so far, he told us a lot of information about them and drove really carefuly because of our son. Also he got up at five the morning after to drive us to the entrance for climbing Pidurangala. Defintily would recommend to stay there. Thank you for everything

It was a wonderful place to stay, right in the heart of nature. Naturally, this meant we occasionally had visits from small insects, but that's to be expected when you’re surrounded by such a beautiful environment. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of well-cooked, traditional food prepared by the host lady. Dinner was also fantastic. The host was very friendly, and we went on a safari with him. We paid a very reasonable price for it, and it was quite comfortable. I highly recommend staying here!

Rohan and his wifi are hospitile. They help you with all of your questions. Hé is also a safari driver so its easy and cheap to go and spot some elephants. The tree house is very beautiful and clean. These people work very hard to help you with anything and They bring you everywhere.

I loved staying there! The room was spotless and had a mini fridge already stocked with beer and other drinks. Even the glass was in the fridge—how thoughtful! What I loved most, though, was the genuine kindness of the owners. There were no hidden fees, and when he said, “I’m going to take you around,” he truly did it out of the kindness of his heart. I 100% recommend staying here.

Rohan and Prasadini made everything to make our stay perfect. They are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The treehouse was an adventure for us and Prasadini’s homemade breakfast was delicious. The safari with Rohan was absolutely amazing! We have seen so many elephants, even 2 babies and so close. He is the best, so friendly and more than 10 years experience.
