Location was great - off the Main Street so not noisy at all! The hosts were very lovely! Breakfast was cheap and came with a variety of nice food. Rooms had all basics needs and it was a nice area at the hotel. Our host organised an outing to see the Slender Loris for us at the national park - night trek. It was worth while, we saw four in total and two very well.

Sigiri lodge has a great location. It is a little set back from the busy street and is within walking distance of the Sigiriya Lion Rock entrance. There are many restaurants to choose from within a very short walk. Ajith was proactive in making WhatsApp contact beforehand to facilitate room allocations and other arrangements.

The property is really very nice. The hosts were incredible. They helped me organize my stay in Sigirya: like the sunset on Pidurangala Rock and the Safari. Really very nice. The property is just a 10-minute walk from Lion's Rock Entrande and on the main street with all the little restaurants. I highly recommend it!

Really lovely staff who looked out for you, look after you, and made you feel very welcome. Brilliant breakfast with plenty of it to set you up for the day. Walkable to main sites (only during the day). Be very careful of elephants in the dark, saw one literally over the road one night!

**The A/C turned off every hour or so, through the night. I'm not sure if it was broken or a function of the unit -- I know that A/C can be very expensive. The price was very low, so it wasn't a huge issue.

**The owners or managers were very warm and welcoming, allowing us to gain entry to our room well before the checkin time. We mentioned wanting a massage, and they found a place for us. It was a tuk-tuk ride away, and he took us himself, then returned to pick us up. So helpful! He didn't even charge us for it, although we paid him anyway. **Breakfast was delicious.

Everything was great at Lion lodge. Ajith and his family are such great hosts. The hospitality we received was so very warm. The rooms are comfortable with good showers, comfortable beds and cool AC. Thank you Ajith, we hope to return one day 🙏

The shower wasn’t the best but we didn’t mind.

Good location, the owners were so helpful, they organised an amazing elephant safari for us. Breakfast was great. Our room was big and the aircon worked well.

What a wonderful place! The owners are absolutely lovely. They helped us organize our 2 days in the area and even took us to their 2nd place so our kids could enjoy the swimming pool there. The place has a beatiful garden, the rooms are super clean. Breakfast was terrific. And there's a great restaurant that has a terrific rice and curry 20 meters away. Lyon's Rock is just a 15-minute walk away, too.

Can I suggest a few hooks needed in bathroom to hang up towel and maybe a few hangers to hang clothes/coat.Apart from that nothing!!

Super friendly owners with quick check.in .Lovely jungle plants in amongst the property. Very spacious clean rooms with mosquito net over bed. Fabulous big breakfast served with a big smile every morning😀 Very helpful owners who can organise tours or cars 🚗 to transport you around locally or onto next area on Sri Lanka route with fair prices offered. Walking distance into town where you can see elephants being walked and washed daily in the river. Try RASTAURANT it Rasta restaurant which serves nice food.

No fridge in the room.

Very solid place, close to the action, but far enough away it was also very quiet. Great staff, always caring and especially when my daughter needed to visit the pharmacy. Very nice breakfast, with a fine terrace & good view for eating breakfast or enjoying a cold beverage and perhaps meeting other guests if they’re friendly.

It’s beautiful. The carved wooden pillars, the way it’s set up. The room is spacious and clean. It’s very close to everything you need and want in Sigiriya. Most importantly the manager is an adorable man who is so helpful, accommodating and kind. Also, I thought it was very good value for money.
