Food options require a walk down and we were informed not to step out post 630pm alone due to wild life. Rest no issues.

The place is under construction so only the bottom two rooms are available. The facility is basic but works for a single night if you are venturing out full day. The place is managed by two people who are extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was decent as we wanted vegetarian meals. Overall no issues.

Great guesthouse with a lovely host family. The room was comfortable. I had breakfast and dinner which were both very good. The guesthouse is in a peaceful and quiet part of the town and there is a beautiful lake round the corner. The hosts helped me organise tuktuks and bike hire.

This guesthouse offered a truly delightful stay! The hosts were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, readily assisting with any request. The location was perfect – a tranquil escape just off the main road, yet conveniently close to Lion Rock. This quiet setting was a welcome respite after a day of exploring. A further bonus was the delicious breakfast and dinner provided by the hosts – a welcome convenience and a tasty treat. Overall, a highly recommended experience.

The room was in a perfect location in the forest, loved hearing all the wildlife around us. The room was clean and comfortable. The best part about the stay was the family, they cooked us sri lankan breakfast every morning and the best tea. The hosts were very friendly and were happy to assist you in everything! The location is great and close to the lion rock. Also was very quiet and off the main road, which we liked. The host arranged breakfast and dinner for us and it was really nice food. Next time we will stay longer!

We spent two nights here exploring sigiriya and polonnaruwa, and found it perfect for our needs. The room was spacious and comfortable, with good AC and some cute animal friends nearby. It was the owner and his family that made it really worthwhile - we loved meeting them and they went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met, providing a Sri Lankan breakfast and ordering in delicious kottu for our dinner.

It's so nice and tranquil here, we had a wonderful stay! The food was amazing, you have to try the breakfast in the morning and the host even organised some kottu to be delivered for us for dinner when we asked! He also organised our trip to the Pidurangala Rock. Super helpful!

The scooter came with empty tank, probably a standard here. And a few frogs haha but that's no problem.

The owner was VERY helpful during the whole time, always there checking on us, bringing water, organising thigs. Room was ready in a short time after booking. He got us a great and knowledgable driver to Hurulu Eco Park safari. He also arranged a good scooter for us and a great tuk tuk driver who even caught us our bus to Kandy. :) The owner also called us after to make sure our travels went okay. Very good place if you want to feel like at home where you're taken care of.

The host was really nice! Helped us with everything and made sure we had the best time. We did the safari tour for 24.000LKR which is a reasonable price. He also arranged a Tuk Tuk drivers when we needed it. Breakfast really nice and dinner really good!! 100% recommend the stay here! Price is very good!
