If you like retreat location, this is the one for you. Very close to the Lyon Rock and restaurants. The breakfast was delicious.

The air conditioning is in the need for some cleaning.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location is great, close to the main attractions and just a short walk from the stunning views of Lion Rock. Local breakfast was delicious, with generous portions that will definitely keep you full!

Although the location is lovely and surrounded by forest, just keep in mind that it can be quite dark if you walk there at night. The bathroom could be a little more cleaner.

Owners and staff are fantastic and strive to make the stay as comfortable as possible. As an example, they brought us at 4.45 AM to Lion’s Rock. Breakfast was the best we had in Sri Lanka. The location is in the forest but still close to restaurants of Sigiriya (approximately 10 mins walking) and main attractions (eg, Lion’s Rock). They also organized a Safari at Minneriya Park for us. The cost-quality ratio was far beyond expectations!

Since the place is located in the forest, insects are expected. If you stay for more than one night we suggest to accept the room cleaning, which was offered us. We thought it was not necessary, but it was indeed.

Breakfast was amazing. Owners are very friendly. Garden is green with a lot of plants.

Very nice accommodation. Clean rooms. Nice hosts! The man drove us to the rock for sunrise. We booked a safari in Minneriya National Park through the accommodation. It was very nice!

The best breakfast we have had in Sri Lanka. Friendly and helpful host. Beautiful and well maintained tropical garden. Short walk to town/village.

The owner was so kind and helpful. His family were amazing and looked after us really well. I loved the local Sri Lankan breakfast they served 😍. There was so much food , me and my husband really struggled to finish it and we are big eaters. The whole setting is really authentic and magical. You get a great view of the lion rock two minutes walk away .

The property is 10 minutes walking from the Main Street and access to the Sigiriya rock. Despite this,it is really quiet and private. Owners are extremely kind. We booked a safari directly with them and it has been the best experience possible! Also..free of charge the owner dropped us by the Pidurangala Rock at 4.45 for our early climb.

Bathroom could be better. Access to the property too dark in the evening.

Tucked away from all the tourist traps in a lovely Natural environment, perfect for nature lovers. Great local breakfast, although I could never finish all of it, you won't go away hungry.

The location was amazing, really secluded but yet only a short walk to an area with loads of restraunts and bars with an amazing view of lions rock, the owners are amazing and we had the best brekfast, it was a sri lankan style brekfast with all the trimmings and it was amazing!!!!!!

I had a wonderful stay--warm and helpful host family, good spread of breakfast, clean and big room, WIFI is good enough I was using it for work and calls/meetings were fine. If you plan to hike pidurangala rock, they can drive you in the morning for free.

5 minute walk to main road, during night its really dark walking back.

I felt really disappointing, We checked in at 8.15pm and by 10.00pm the power went off and no one was responsible to turn on the generator. When I messaged them in whats app, they didn't respond. The whole night no power. Couldnt sleep at all. The next day in the afternoon also no power and when we asked about it. The owner son was really rude and his behavoir was unacceptable. He was not ready to turn on the generator. I had to say strongly and asked to provide good service, then he turned on the generator. Will never recommand for a good peaceful stay there. After giving key, the didnt hold any responsbility towards the guest.

Everything, it was the best welcome to Sri Lanka. The host was exceptional, very helpful and friendly and full of useful information. The breakfast was insanely good, I am already sure it won’t be beaten.

Great place

Amazing location, super friendly host! He woke at 4:30am to drop us to Lion Rock which was amazingly kind. The property was very remote and jungle-y, it was very beautiful outside scenery.
