It’s a lovely hotel with great staff who were always welcoming and attentive. The breakfast buffet offered many options to choose from, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable.

The water in the shower was very inconsistent in temperature. Also the food was a little bit of a let down.

We had a problem with the room and got downgraded to another room for the second night. We stayed in the 1st room and used the second one for showering and brush our teeth as it was not possible with the first one

There was nothing I can say. Servics to food to room, felt like a five star hotel experince.

Breakfast: Really, really good! There were heaps of varieties — from authentic Sri Lankan dishes (a great experience for a foreigner to enjoy the culture and flavors) to excellent Western options. Plenty of choices for kids, plus a huge selection of sweets, from fresh fruits to desserts. The live cooking stations were a highlight — chefs prepared multiple dishes right in front of you, keeping everything fresh and adding to the experience. Dinner: The all-inclusive buffet was fantastic, again with a wide variety of food. Just like breakfast, there were live cooking stations where chefs could customize dishes to your taste. The chefs were very friendly — especially Chef Kasun, who is a truly talented professional. He served me multiple times at different stations, and what really stood out was when I asked him to customize a kottu; he made it so well that my kids asked for seconds. Pool: A really nice, family-friendly pool. There’s a dedicated area for toddlers as part of the main pool, and the overhanging trees give it a cool, relaxing vibe. I think the pool could use a bit of minor maintenance as it’s showing some signs of age, but overall, it’s still great. Reception: From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the service from the reception team was extremely welcoming. Whether the request was big or small, they ensured everything was handled in a professional and friendly manner. Special mention to Saduni — I had multiple interactions with her, from asking for local information to requesting assistance within the hotel, and she was absolutely outstanding. One small but thoughtful touch came at check-out: the staff gave us a parting gift, which included a bottle of water, a well-made sandwich, and a cupcake — incredibly useful for our onwardjourney. Dinner and breakfast buffets were average and slightly on the pricey side.

A lovely place to relax in and also to visit Sigriya and Pidurangula. Rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. Pool in hotel is very nice to relax at. Staff were very good and will organise tuk tuks or a jeep safari to Minneriya National park. Would definitely recommend.

Nothing really except that their F&B food spread can improve- the breakfast buffet was average and the same everyday. Sri Lankan food also very average. The F&B staff were really nice though.

The property is very well situated and near the village but just on the outskirts that it is quiet and peaceful. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. A big thank you to the receptionists Anuhag and Rshmi,but also each and every waiter. The food at the restaurant was amazing

A Truly Unforgettable Experience at Sigiriya Jungles Resort & Spa This was our first time visiting Sri Lanka, and staying at Sigiriya Jungles Resort & Spa made the entire experience absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, my wife and I felt so welcomed and cared for—the kindness and warmth of the people, especially the resort staff, stood out immediately. What truly made a lasting impression on us was how every single staff member greeted us with a genuine smile, no matter the time of day. A special shoutout to Sakura and Rashmi at the reception, whose cheerful attitudes and helpful nature made our stay seamless from check-in to check-out. We also want to sincerely thank Aravindh, Chaimanda, and Anuhas for their incredible hospitality. Another big highlight was meeting Nilan, who took such great care of us during breakfast and dinner. His attention to detail and friendly service made our dining experience even more enjoyable. The resort’s pool area became our little paradise—we spent hours swimming, relaxing, and simply soaking in the serene environment. And we can’t forget to mention their signature mocktail, “Sigiriya Beauty”—it was so refreshing and delicious that we ended up having five in just two days! Everything about our stay, from the stunning surroundings to the exceptional service, was top-notch. We left feeling relaxed, recharged, and truly grateful. We would wholeheartedly recommend Sigiriya Jungles Resort & Spa to anyone visiting Sri Lanka—you won’t be disappointed.

If you didn’t get the buffet, the food was ok.

Very relaxing stay, the staff were extremely helpful to book safaris and tuk tuks, and the dinner buffet was impressive. Nice to have a gym but it was small.

The buffet and the breakfast were fantastic, thanks to chef hirantha and his young crew. Everyday the buffet was different en surprised us. The pool is nice. The bathrooms in the apartment could use a update ( we could not open the windows). All of the staff was really nice. The tuktuk they provided was expensive, not helpfull and could hardly speak english. We used pickme instead. The spa was good
