Breakfast was very overpriced for what was on offer. There was curry. Pancakes one day and French toast the next with fruit and juice. Hardboiled egg. For the price charged I was surprised at the seleon offer

There is no mosquito net in the room. The Hotel Manager (Man) is not very flexible. My friends has an issue in their room. They had offered a room in the ground floor which I believe not yet finish. There is FOE (lady) she was very polite.

I like the scenery of the hotel. Staff are ok, however they need to be trained more. Some of the staff cannot communicate in English, they should be trained also. They need to add more variety of food in their menu

The swimming pool can have some cutting edges and it is possible to hurt yourself - not a lot of choice when it came to breakfast

We would rate the food 4 out 5 just because sometimes it was a hit and miss, but it was okay.

The kindness of the people. Any request was met with a smile and an eagerness to help. We were greeted with bouquet of flowers and a lovely welcome drink. Every member of the staff deserves 5 star rating

Room 207 sink was not draining and 209 and a weird bathroom smell. There was no hot water on either of the rooms.

One out of the two room had a balcony which had an amazing view in the morning. We were quite hungry and restaurant staff efficiently took orders and food was coming out pretty quick.

The room facilities could have been better. Hot water facility was not as per standard and was not available to be mixed with cold water. So either hot or cold water could have been used. Breakfast options were limited and minimal and service was slow.

It is quite comfortable, the staff were warm and they provided fooding and lodging free of charge to our guide cum driver.

The property needs a bit more of an uplift overall. Bathrooms can be a bit more cleaner. Note, there is nothing too worrying - for the price you pay, the place is great value for money.. But if you are looking for spotless clean facilities, the property might not meet your expectations. If you are travelling in a rented bus or a van, the free of charge driver's rooms are not great. Our driver had a pretty bad experience and checked out after one night.

The staff are really caring and welcoming.. the property is kept tidy. We had both breakfast and Dinner buffets - a bit pricy, nothing too fancy but really good and tasty. When the buffet is not running, you can order from the menu as well - generous portions of food provided. The pool was really good and kept clean as much as possible. Not an easy job with surrounding trees and nature. Nice large beds, spacious bathrooms with hot water. Loved the nature surrounding the property and birds, the pool side is a quite a relaxing place to start your day surrounded by nature.

Lack of places to eat nearby but the hotel has good food

Be sure to book the breakfast deal to take in the buffet before going out to explore. Walking distance to the Dambulla Royal Caves and the Golden Temple. Easy transport to other attractions. Walkable neighbourhood with lovely neighbours and gardens. Make time for the pool each day! It is so amazing to float and bridwatch

Absolutely Pathetic Hotel with nothing. Food is very very bad. Buffet and bfast spread is very bad. No options for veg/ vegan. Rooms are damp, smelly, pathetic. Washrooms is very bad with weird sound making geysers. Washroom has a window which is always open and room gets filled with insects. Location is the property is weird

I had a wonderful stay at Sigiriya Kingdom Resort. The location is perfect, very close to the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, making it easy to explore the area. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities I needed. The staff were very friendly and always ready to help, which made me feel welcome. The food was tasty with a nice mix of local and international options. The peaceful environment and beautiful views made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it’s a great place to relax and experience Sigiriya.

Note to people who like a cocktail or glass of wine. This hotel serves no alcohol, just beer. Everything else was horrible, the pillows were flat, the room looked like it could do with a makeover 10 years ago. Things broken, moldy and dirty. To turn on the boiler, you had to stand on the toilet to turn on the switch and not forget to turn it of as it makes a hell of a noise when left on. We had to call someone cause we didnt get hot water, apparantly you could only get hot water out of one, dont know why the second one was there, water power was poor due to the limescale in the showerhead. The aircon was noisy. The 'restaurant' looked like a cheap cantine worn down, food took ages and lot of mistakes were made. Overall a very dissapointing experience. I can see most of reviews are good, so i made pictures of it. This place could be nice, but need a lot of work on it Ive got way more pictures then this. But can only place 4. Mould on walls and ceiling,, rotten door frame etc

The swimmingpool was ok, just short of sunbeds and parasols, So with more then 6 people there you couldnt sit or lay anywhere. The beds were ok, not to hard, not to soft. Staff did their best, think they struggled with keeping up, maybe also cause the language

Food items in the menu was simply overpriced generally staff was nice and kind our last day we weee trying to use the pool but the guy got us towels were not the most pleasant person
