Stayed in the chalet was perfect for our stay. The family was so nice and helped us sort anything we needed.

Very quiet place next to the river. The room was spacious and clean. The hosts are very sweet, our host even brought us to Kandy by car. Definitely recommend!

Our stay at River Side Villa was excellent, the garden is cute and peaceful close to the running river and the room clean and comfortable. Very friendly and available hosts that arranged for us tuk tuks and safari for reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

Everything- tropical paradise

The property is right by a stream in the middle of trees and a small stream flowing by. Relaxing atmosphere, nice hosts.

The bed we had was too small. My partner, who is 6’3”, could not fit and had to sleep at an angle to fit.

Perfect location. Great value for money. Very friendly family. Rooms with aircon and wifi. Best breakfast we’ve had in Sri Lanka.

The owners are super friendly and very helpful. The tree house is super cute and it was a wonderful experience

The only thing is if there is a lot of humidity, staying in the tree house wasn’t the best because doesn’t have AC but only a fan so it was quite hot but manageable at the end

The property is in a perfect location for all the surrounding national parks and lions rock. The hosts are lovely. Welcoming, accommodating and informative. We highly recommend this stay!

The most important thing for us is cleanliness, and this hotel exceeded our expectations—it was spotless. The staff’s behavior was also exceptional—everyone was kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. The location is perfect: right by the river and within walking distance to all the main attractions in Sigiriya. If we ever come back to Sigiriya, we won’t even consider staying anywhere else—this will be our first choice. A special thank you to Mali—she is the best! So friendly and incredibly helpful. Highly recommended!

The location was very convenient.

Not what we expected. We booked for 3 nighta. Breakfast wasn't what other people described and the owner seemed upset with us because we didn't book our extra activities with him. We didn't get toiletries, just one soap.

We had the most magical time at Sigariya River Side Villa! Such a unique experience staying in the tree house & being close to nature. Really enjoyed relaxing in the hammock with the sounds of the river. Good location: 5 minute walk to restraunts and 20 minute walk to larger shops & ATM. Breakfast was absolutely delicious!  The owner was a fantastic host and helped us arrange a number of activities. Not a criticism as they didn't bother us, but there are a number of small frogs who like to hang out in the bathroom!

We stayed in a cute boomhut with ac. The couple who runs the place is extremely helpful and we booked some tours and transport with them. The location is great, one minute walking to all kinds of cute restaurants. The breakfast was amazing. Overall, we had a nice stay and would definitely recommend.
